Pure Glacial Waters from a Fjord in my Fridge

...I honestly never thought I needed a water filter in my life, let alone that I'd grow to find it indispensible but in the case of my Brita Fjord Cool filter jug, that's exactly what's happened. I bought it on a whim as it was reduced to £10 in Woolworths and I decided to treat myself to something I considered at the time to be frivolous yet practical. There were a few Brita filter jugs on offer at the same price and I chose the Fjord Cool model simply because it looked a bit sleeker and sexier than the others available. Pining for the fjords

Advantages: Breathtaking scenary, good train system, everyone speaks English if you need it

  Water Way to Drink

Advantages: Improves water taste and quality

...can see the difference. We used to have an oily scum floating on the top of cups of tea and coffee. I used to think it was a fatty residue from the milk, but no, make the drink with filtered water and its gone, disappeared and the taste is different to. Try a glass by itself and the difference of taste is immediately apparent, subtle the difference maybe but it is there. My children and I have three under seventeen at home used to drink bottle after bottle of pop, the youngest Shannon would drink nothing else and all the sugars in the pop were beginning to affect her teeth, but since buying the filter all that?s changed the pop gets left and the water gets drunk and I make a saving. Advantages: Beautiful, historic, friendlyand very different.
Disadvantages: Wet in Summer, Cold in Winter.

It's Clear From The Taste

...The water that comes out of my tap is clear, but it smells and tastes mildly of chlorine. Nice. If I filter it with the Brita filter the chlorine taste and smell completely goes and the water just tastes much, much nicer. For the first few filters with a new cartridge the water tastes like mineral water with a slightly sweet taste, but as the cartridge is used more and more the sweet taste disappears. Even when the cartridge has been used for longer than the recommended four weeks the water still tastes much better, and I can easily tell if the water has been filtered or if it is straight out of the tap just by the odour.
