...The Flamingo Oasis is the ideal hotel if you are looking for somewhere nice to stay in Benidorm. Having visited the hotel twice, once two months after it first opened and second a couple of weeks ago, i was not disappointed the second time. On the first occasion I visited this hotel, two weeks before we were due to fly I was contacted by the tour operator and avised that their was currently some building work being undertake on the hotel adgacent to the hotel and that it was minor building work and should not directly affect us. As you can imagine you would genuinely be worried about where you were going when being told this and I was wondering what to expect. Upon arriving at the hotel there is a nice driveway with a ratating door that takes you into the fantastic spacious reception. Greeted by palm trees and other exotic plants...

Flamingo Oasis

Advantages: All inclusive, Don't need to leave it for anything

...I have just recently got home from the Flamingo Oasis hotel in Benidorm, which is an all inclusive hotel which has been an absolute pleasure staying in. I arrived just before ten o clock on Saturday 30th June after a very long one hour bus journey from the airport. I immediately walked into an extremely large and spacious reception area where the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful and they all speak fantastic English. Because it was so late we were given a temporary room card which we could use to get our free drinks for the night, these were replaced in the morning by cards which had a photo of me on it which was taken there and then using a digital camera connected to a pc. These are used to prove to the security guards and bar staff that you stay in the hotel and they are also rooms cards which is handy as I didn?t need...

I didn't see a Flamingo....

Advantages: Good All Round Day out for people of all Ages
Disadvantages: Weather controlled fun...

...Waiting for my latest product suggestions to come through, which relate to my time away in Newquay this week, I remembered that I still hadn?t reviewed Flamingo Land, where I had been to the week before while in Scarborough. Flamingo Land, is perhaps the most gay named theme park in the UK, not benefitting from a cool, fear inducing name like ALTON TOWERS which could scare small children without them so much as setting foot on a rollercoaster, they chose to opt for something with two feet, fluffy, and pink. Which may I add, I saw not one of. ...I recently stayed at the Flamingo Benidorm Hotel in Benidorm, Spain for 7 nights between the 17th and 24th October 2006. LOCATION The Hotel is located about 800 metres inland from Levante Beach, and about the same distance from the Old Town. It is set in one of the quieter parts of the resort on a slight incline. Flying high in Flamingo Land

Flamingo Oasis a stressfree, calm and fun pack holiday.

Advantages: Close to shops, the sea front, great food and entertainment
Disadvantages: No tea making facilities in the guest rooms

...Stayed at the Flamingo Oasis Hotel between 5/8/08-20/8/08 When you pull up to the hotel in your coach the first thing your likely to see is the large flamingo that is painted on the side of the hotel, at night this flamingo lights up in pink colous. When you walk into the main reception area you can feel the coolness of the air con, the staff are kind and friendly. They book you into the hotel and you have your photo taken for the ID cards, there is a different colour for the adults to the children, this is so staff can be sure of age when serving alcohol, also so that they know your a guest at the hotel. Your ID cards also double up as a door key to get into your room. The guest bedrooms are of a large size and spacious, depending on how high up in the hotel your room is, will depend how much of a view you have. We stayed...

...but one minus queues if possible I decided on Flamingo Land, it was cheapish, nearish and I couldn't see people driving from all over the country to spend the day in North Yorkshire. Flamingo Land was first set up in 1979. I recall people from school, spending two weeks in a caravan there and having a great time or so they said. Caravan Parks always remind me of Mablethorpe and my Nan's caravan as a kid - I had no great desire to relive a caravan holiday thanks very much! But on deleving around Flamingo Lands web site I did notice that the caravan park bit of the operation has definitely gone up market, since the 70's and my numerous stays in caravans. The accommodation offered by Flamingo Land in their adjacent Caravan Park is of a very high standard, with plush fittings. Apparently it's not the vogue to have calor gas lighting like my Nan...

...If you have read some of my other reviews you will know that i love theme parks. So seeing though i have been to Flamingo land about 15 times, I should know enough about it to write a review on it. I have been to Flamingo land about 15 times, but only stayed in one of their holiday homes once, not because i didn't like it,because i did. It was fantastic and the entertainment was really good. When we first got there i just thought we stayed in a holiday home and we had free entry into the park, but i can't be more wrong, it was fantastic, they had a pool and spa complex, tennis courts and alot of entertainment. Our holiday home was really nice, these are some features which was included in our holiday home: ~ Colour televison. ~ Microwave. ~ Electricity and gas. ~ Fully equipped kitchen. ~ Vacuum cleaner. ~ Quilts...

I VISITED FLAMINGO LAND YESTERDAY AND DISCOVERED THAT MANDY THE POLAR BEAR HAD DIED WITHIN DAYS OF ME WRITING THIS REVIEW. I DEDICATE THIS REVIEW TO HER. Flamingo Land is situated in Kirby Misperton which is about 4 miles from Pickering and 6 miles from Malton, North Yorkshire where we live. From the North , you would take the A64 to York and follow the signs to Pickering. Flamingo Land is well signposted for quite a few miles before it, therefore it is easy to find!It incorporates Theme Park, Zoo and Holiday resort in one.
