Flat Coat Retrievers - a tribute.

Advantages: The most lovable large dog you could have.
Disadvantages: Messy and not to be left alone regularly.

Flat Eric - What a cool guy!

...Built by Jim Henson's Creature Shop, Flat Eric was a low-tech, yellow puppet character from Levi's commercials for Sta-Prest One Crease Denim Clothing. He would ride with his friend Angel in California, wanted by the police. His name comes from an idea for a commercial that included having a car run over his head and flattening it. The idea was not used but the name stuck. He was featured in the music video for "Flat Beat" by French artist Mr. Oizo and he also appeared as a prop in series 1 of the 2001-2003 BBC comedy The Office. In 2004, he co-starred with David Soul in a TV advert for Auto Trader magazine. He was based on a puppet called Stephane , that was similar but with ears. Flat out 2 steps up from the original

Advantages: 8 Car Mayhem!
Disadvantages: A few annoying traits...

Although being a game where the fun is to completely destroy your opponents car they haven?t made it so that you can just put the pedal to the metal and drive flat out the entire race, some basic breaking and steering skill is required, but not crucial. The graphics in this game are of a relatively high standard and the crash graphics are very good even if a little over the top with the amount that the cars get destroyed. Don?t worry though, your Car will be completely refurbished and reset on the track. The multi-player mode is rather disappointing with only 2 players allowed on either xbox or ps2 and no other cars on the track. This means that if the players are of a different skill level they will get bored because they are racing apart from each other. There is a lack of the special events too, with only the ?rag...

Review of FlatOut 2 (PS2)

Let's sing the praises of Samsung LCD TV

Advantages: Saves space, good picture, built in freeview
Disadvantages: HD broadcasts not out yet, need a HD ready DVD player too

...apparent thiness. I particularly like the Samsung as it is framed in black ( see picture above ) and I think this gives it a sleek, stylish look. My boss informed me once ( he is full of pearls of wisdom) that a LCD tv is equally popular with husbands and wives. His reasoning is that men like all the gadgets that come with it ( and there are many like picture in picture, different screen sizes etc) while women like the extra space it affords the sitting room. To be honest I like the extra space it affords our room. Furthermore as a parent I'm glad that neither of my sons can lick the television screens any more when their favourite characters come on ( the things they learn from their mother!). It also means they have to watch the television from a certain distance which is obvouisly benefical to their mince pies! *** Spot the Difference...

37" Flat Screen LCD

Disadvantages: no connecter aerial in the package

...I have owned this Samsung television for a year now and have been very pleased with it's performance. I would say it was of average price for an LCD TV of this size at around £600. It was easy to install (although no aerial lead was included in the packaging) and the channel auto install was simple. The picture quality is very good, well defined, and colours are bright and sharp. Colours are even throughout the screen, with no fading or darker patches. The teletext functions are also good, with bright displays. The sound quality is excellent, defined and clear with no muffling. The remote control included in the packaging is basic but does the job. A Flat of Different Characters.

.... Parents who are obsessed with having their 5 year old son not enjoy the things which little boys would normally like to take part in. A man who lives in the basement, never showing his face. A woman who lives alone but has a lot to share with anyone who'll listen and then Bruce, Pats narcissistic, self loving, rugy playing flatmate. There isn't really any underlying plot behind this book as it features little bits of the buildings tennants lives which don't tend to mingle with anybody elses. It's more of a collection of short stories all pulled together because of the flat. In total there are 14 characters to contend with, although 6 of them are only minor roles there is enough mention of them to make you a bit confused as to who they are and what they have to do with anybody.
