Actually, I always bought Sony products because they are always trusted when it comes to quality. My fist TV experience in this product is really awesome. This has a great picture quality that you always look in TV. And also, it is like you were on a cinema when you are watching because of it's amazing sound quality. You'll never ask for more. Lastly, this TV comes with a great low prices. Buy 32" because TV that are 40" to 50" wide have a poor picture quality....

37" Flat Screen LCD

Advantages: Good quality picture, easy to install
Disadvantages: no connecter aerial in the package

...I have owned this Samsung television for a year now and have been very pleased with it's performance. I would say it was of average price for an LCD TV of this size at around £600. It was easy to install (although no aerial lead was included in the packaging) and the channel auto install was simple. The picture quality is very good, well defined, and colours are bright and sharp. Colours are even throughout the screen, with no fading or darker patches. The teletext functions are also good, with bright displays. The sound quality is excellent, defined and clear with no muffling. The remote control included in the packaging is basic but does the job. The monitor also comes with a touch screen technology and with a touch pen included, that is quite marvelous and interesting to use and on the other hand comes with a remote control wireless and with built in audio, which produces high quality and likable sound. Review of Samsung SyncMaster 943NW

XIOD 17in Flat Panel, superb budget LCD monitor.

Advantages: Great picture, very stylish, very small footprint, good value.
Disadvantages: Tricky to clean, unknown brand.

...I'm writing this review in front of my Xiod IM17SM flat panel monitor which I am absolutely over the moon with. I don't know how I ever coped with CRT! I had been looking into LCD monitors for a while due to a lack of space on my desk and the general ugliness of my existing CRT but was obviously put off by the price and wasn't really sure about picture quality of LCD screens. I was pretty sure my £230 budget wouldn't accomodate anything larger than a 15" screen (which would have been a little smaller than my CRT) but I was prepared to make the sacrifice. When I saw this monitor up for sale on eBay, I thought well why not, it has to be worth a go. I did a little research into the Xiod brand and found that it is a budget subsidiary of Samsung, who I knew made decent LCD panels. Whacked in a bid and won the monitor for £215...

Review of XIOD IM17SM

Excellent display so far.

Advantages: 1600 x 1200 x 32-bit TrueColour.
Disadvantages: None ; could always be cheaper though :-)

...I had been waiting for this screen as the previous offerings ? even the 19? model ? could not support the 1600 x 1200 screen resolution that I was using on my 19? and 21? CRT screens. Since I managed to get my hands on one I have been very pleased with it. The big difference is in the amount of room that is recovered when a 21? CRT screen is replaced with a 21? LCD panel ? the panel sits further back on the desk, where the tube was, and also puts the actual viewing area that little bit further away from the user, which can only help in the long run. With four input types; Video and S-Video joining the DVI and VGA that were available on the 19? screen, most things will plug in to the screen although there are only one of each type of input available. Cheap flat screen LCD TV better than dearer ones

Advantages: cheap, small, good enough picture and sound quality for us
Disadvantages: haven't really found any

...prefer to keep my distance from anything to do with setting up electrical goods but my partner tells me that this Bush was pretty fiddly to set up. Even worse after a few days of a fairly indifferent picture and sound quality it gave up the ghost and packed up completely. So we took it back to Tescos, decided we didn't want another one, saw the Digilogic again with its excellent picture and decided to give it a try and get a refund for the difference in cost too. We are now absolutely delighted with it and have had no problems at all with it. It has auto install and was really easy to set up. It is a silver 15 inch LCD flat screen television with Nicam stereo sound. When I saw it along side the others I thought it looks very slightly less modern and streamline but with it happily installed in the kitchen I never give this a thought...

Review of Samsung LCD display

Let's sing the praises of Samsung LCD TV

Advantages: Saves space, good picture, built in freeview
Disadvantages: HD broadcasts not out yet, need a HD ready DVD player too

...apparent thiness. I particularly like the Samsung as it is framed in black ( see picture above ) and I think this gives it a sleek, stylish look. My boss informed me once ( he is full of pearls of wisdom) that a LCD tv is equally popular with husbands and wives. His reasoning is that men like all the gadgets that come with it ( and there are many like picture in picture, different screen sizes etc) while women like the extra space it affords the sitting room. To be honest I like the extra space it affords our room. Furthermore as a parent I'm glad that neither of my sons can lick the television screens any more when their favourite characters come on ( the things they learn from their mother!). It also means they have to watch the television from a certain distance which is obvouisly benefical to their mince pies! *** Spot the Difference...

Review of Samsung LE32R51BD 32" LCD TV

Fantastic Flat Screen but no sounds.

Advantages: Great screen resolution, looks, styling and performance
Disadvantages: No built in speakers

...seen trailing behind on the floor. While this reduces screen weight, it is also a pain having extra cables and power packs lying around. Being self contained like the HP L1906 is, in my opinion, the best and tidiest way forward. Back to the performance....Wow! It truly is one of the most crisp and colour rich TFT monitors i have see. The depth of colour for a flat screen is fantastic. Its anti glare coating aids those annoying office strip lights dazzling you in their reflection. I also like the way it can auto adjust almost instantly when I add my laptop to the screen. Rather than having the "black Band" appearance on screen because of the widescreen set up I use, It is able to maximise the screen and keep my resolution. Resolution is a major factor here. A lot of 19 inch screens are unable to replicate 1280 x 1024 but this is can...
