Let's sing the praises of Samsung LCD TV

Advantages: Saves space, good picture, built in freeview
Disadvantages: HD broadcasts not out yet, need a HD ready DVD player too

...apparent thiness. I particularly like the Samsung as it is framed in black ( see picture above ) and I think this gives it a sleek, stylish look. My boss informed me once ( he is full of pearls of wisdom) that a LCD tv is equally popular with husbands and wives. His reasoning is that men like all the gadgets that come with it ( and there are many like picture in picture, different screen sizes etc) while women like the extra space it affords the sitting room. To be honest I like the extra space it affords our room. Furthermore as a parent I'm glad that neither of my sons can lick the television screens any more when their favourite characters come on ( the things they learn from their mother!). It also means they have to watch the television from a certain distance which is obvouisly benefical to their mince pies! *** Spot the Difference...

...I have owned this Samsung television for a year now and have been very pleased with it's performance. I would say it was of average price for an LCD TV of this size at around £600. It was easy to install (although no aerial lead was included in the packaging) and the channel auto install was simple. ...Master 943NW is an excellent monitor when it comes to its features. It puts my old Cathode Ray Tube monitor to shame. I have been using this monitor for a year now and I never have even a single problem with it. Cheap flat screen LCD TV better than dearer ones

Advantages: cheap, small, good enough picture and sound quality for us
Disadvantages: haven't really found any

...prefer to keep my distance from anything to do with setting up electrical goods but my partner tells me that this Bush was pretty fiddly to set up. Even worse after a few days of a fairly indifferent picture and sound quality it gave up the ghost and packed up completely. So we took it back to Tescos, decided we didn't want another one, saw the Digilogic again with its excellent picture and decided to give it a try and get a refund for the difference in cost too. We are now absolutely delighted with it and have had no problems at all with it. It has auto install and was really easy to set up. It is a silver 15 inch LCD flat screen television with Nicam stereo sound. When I saw it along side the others I thought it looks very slightly less modern and streamline but with it happily installed in the kitchen I never give this a thought...

There were several factors to take into account when I was looking for a flat screen TV. The 1st being price, and this came at £499 including delivery with 12 months on site warranty. 2nd with spiraling electrical costs power consumption was a factor, the operating consumption is 140w, with standby power consumption at 3 watts, and yes it is one of the few that you can actually turn of completely. Therefore consuming no power at all. It comes fully loaded withfeatures such as picture in picture, split screen, you can actually watch two channels at the same time.
