Sony's WEGA
Review of Sony KV 32FX60 by
GMulford
Advantages: Amazing contrast and colour
Disadvantages: Price
...I bought this TV after looking at many TVs,. I would recommend this TV for anyone who wants to get the best out of DVD's. The most shocking feature of this TV is that the screen is perfectly flat and has an amazingly vivid and colourful picture. The 100Hz processing dose not cause any artifacts or motion blur. It also has excellent sound but I would still recommend running it through a Hifi. A usfull feature of this TV is that it caches the pages on teletext so you can step through them.
The TV comes with a stand with tinted glass windows that intergrates with the TV seamlessly. Panasonic‘s Tau TV' are similar but I prefer the Sony....

Review of The flat tv company by
ACH1969
Advantages: None
Disadvantages: Exceptionally poor service, faulty products, threatening staff
...I bought a 42'' Philips LCD Television (model 42PFL7662) from The Flat TV Company and I have to say IT WAS THE WORST MISTAKE I'VE EVER MADE IN MY LIFE!!!!!
I bought the TV on 10/10/07. It is now 23/01/08 and I still do not have a working television!!!
The TV was faulty but The Flat TV Company would not take it back instead insisting that I returned it to Philips for repair.
Philips have been an absolute nightmare to deal with and have tried to repair the TV twice - on both occasions returning it to me with the original fault.
They now have the TV for a third time and have kept it for over 3 weeks with no updates whatsoever. Philips customer complaints manager is always "too busy" to speak with me.
The Flat TV Company washed their hands of all of this, their attitude is "we've for your money so &*^£ you".
Oh and on top of that after...

Sony 32 inch Bravia TV review
Review of Sony Bravia KDL-32M4000 by
sam_hayward
Advantages: Good screen size, brilliant viewing quality.
Disadvantages: No ariel lead when you buy the product.
...I have bought this tv recently (in the last 3 weeks) and are very impressed. The picture quality is fantastic, and the standard definition almost seems like high definition. There is also hd sound, if you turn it on in the settings, and this improves the viewing quality amazing. The flat screen has made my room look almost double the size. I always have bought sony, and am very impresed as my last tv did not break in 7 years. This tv is an excellent replacment, and the inbuilt freeview tuner picks up all of the channels in my area without any signal boosters. The only problem with this tv is that it does not come with an ariel lead. Very well done sony!!!...

JVC AV28RA47SK TV review
Review of JVC AV28R47SK by
SLAYARDA
Advantages: Excellent value for money and great ease of use
Disadvantages: Pretty boring design and quite bulky
...Ok, your on a budget and you would like a decent TV but you are not bothered about built in Modem, true flat screem, tuner etc what do you go for? I asked myself this question when my old 32" broke down a number of months ago. I decided I didn't need a massive 42" LCD monster and to be truthful all those fancy add ons turned me off, I just wanted a TV a could flop in front of and just relax!!
I bought my JVC for a smidge of £350 now you can get them for £300 on the net if you shop around and I think that this is an ideal price for a TV which is not at the top of the bunch but a decent budget all rounder.
The TV comes with a free surround sound system which is ok but I think if this is going to be your main box to watch TV on you could probably do with buying a better system to link up to the TV. The surround system is functional...

Sagem Projection tv 45"
Review of Sagem projection television by
bricks17
Advantages: Clear picture, widescreen, amazing sound
Disadvantages: hard to see screen at an angle or in bright light
...i got the Sagem projection tv from a store that i can pay in installments, up untill then i'd never heard of a back projection tv. Its HD ready, resolution of 1280x720, 1 million pixels per colour, with two speakers on it that are 60 watts. its AV input/output is s-video x1, scart x3, and composite video x1. it supports NICAM stereo.
My tv is silver, but comes in black too, it looks really nice and the remote is easy to work out, but a bit oversized. the remote takes 2 AA batterys. The telly has quite a large back, with a bigger flat screen which sits on a curved base that looks like the speakers. It looks like a flatscreen TV from the front, from the side it looks like a flatscreen with something attatched to the back.
The tv cost £3000 in the store i got it from including tv stand, i'm paying £3400 as its in installments, since...

QUALITY
Review of Hitachi 36" NATURA by
Howitza
Advantages: Everything
Disadvantages: Getting it into your house
...What a bargain! Some 30% cheaper than similar 36 inch flat screejn televisions and considerably better. I saw the TV working alongside the Sony and Panasonic 36 inch rivals and for picture quality, extras and price it demolishes the opposition and wins hands down. From a built in DTS decoder to split screen text and TV picture, the options list grows. Alter the picture size, the TV even comes with 6 speakers including a Subwoofer and a centre channel. DVD's come to life through the 100Hz Digital programming - for large screen TV's you cannot beat it. BAY...

Humax LGB 17 DTT
Review of Humax LGB 17 DTT by
abihall
Advantages: lots of features
Disadvantages: Can't turn tv off unless turn plug off
...I bought this TV a few months ago. It is a nice looking TV and although Humax is not a brand I had heard of before I have so far been happy with the television.
It is a flat panel screen which is 17" and therefore a good size screen with wide screen - I use it as a bedroom tv and it is big enough to be easy to watch and being a flat screen it takes up less space. The picture is good and clear and it has an internal freeview box, so no extra wires/boxes etc to plug in. Along the front underneath the screen there are the speakers and a few tuning buttons.
The main problem with this tv is that when you press the power button on the tv or the remote it only turns the tv on or puts it into standby mode, if you want to turn the whole set off properly you have to turn it off at the plug! This seems rather silly to me in this time...

Venturing into the world of budget LCD televisions
Review of Bush LCD 26 TV 016 HD by
Mainflava
Advantages: Easy to tune; clear, high quality picture, good sound
Disadvantages: None that I can see so far
....
Screen size......
Having looked at a number of flat panel TVs with screen sizes ranging from 15 to 32 inches, I decided to upgrade my normal screen size from 15 inches to 26 inches in order to provide that home cinema feel in a relatively small room. While large screens were also appealing, a combination of a tight budget (see above) and a small room with which the set would be located, forced my hand into the sub 32 inch category.
Bush LCD 26 inch TV
Eventually, after much searching, I stumbled across the above televison on offer for a shade over £300 including delivery - well inside my projected budget. On receipt of the television, I was suprised at just how light it was; weighing in at less than 17 kg meant that should I need to wall mount the unit, I could get away with much cheaper brackets and, I could even contemplate the tilt...

Looking for a 14' ?
Review of Sony KV14LM1 by
vtr1000
Advantages: Superior screen, all the functions + teletext + wodescreen mode
Disadvantages: Maybe the price.
...I was looking for a small tv for the bedroom and was settling for a Philips tv which was silver and had a curved screen. I'd searched Tottenhm Court Road HIgh Street Stores and the Internet. All tv's had curved screens and were priced £110 - £160. I had ordered a Philips and was lucky that Intersaver did not have any in stock. So it was back to the drawing board. I was in Hounslow and came across a Sony dealer and saw this stunning tv. Sexy silver and FLAT Wega screen. This was the boy. At only £169.99 it has everything. Flat screen NYSC playback through scart. Widescreen function. It craps on all 14' tv's. A must but for the best spec and looking tv....

PROBABLY THE BEST TV EVER
Review of Sony KV-27FS13 Trinitron Wega Television by
zarniwoop
Advantages: looks good and stylish, remote is great, has a great range of features
Disadvantages: The price is really the only bad thing
...Like I said in my other review on the DVD player, the con was the fact that I had to buy a new TV to enjoy the full potential of my DVD player. And here it is, the TV that caught my eye.
The Sony KV-27FS13 is a stylish, flat-screen TV. I think the main question that everyone asks is that, is there any point splashing out that little bit more and get a flat screen TV that is very stylish and space-saving, or should I get a cheaper non-flat TV? So basicly all you're asking is, is there any other advantages on a flat screen apart from the space saved and the stylish looks. Well read on.
Looks
Like I said before, this TV looks stylish and very cool. You can also buy a matching Sony stand for this TV and I think you need it. The buttons on the TV are located on the top of the TV so it is much easier to work than when...
