...A Legendary Flavour. Walkers Crisps are polling the Great British people to try and find the next flavour of crisps. A few months back they asked for people to submit flavour combinations to them in hopes of it becoming the next Walkers flavour. They have now shortlisted six flavours which they have produced but only one will survive and it?s up to us to decide which one it is. Savour the flavour of the mighty Quaver!

Advantages: Crisp, tasty, relatively healthy

Here?s the boring but necessary nutritional bit: Each pack contains just 87 calories and 4.9g of fat ? if eaten moderately neither figure is going to contribute to an expanding waistline. In line with most Walkers crisps, they have been recently reformulated and are touted at containing 80% less saturated fat than the previous recipe which must be a good thing. I almost exclusively choose the original cheese flavour, but they?re also available in salt and vinegar and prawn-cocktail variations, both of which are also very nice and give an occasional change. So, to summarise, you get to enjoy a really tasty, crispy snack which is less calorific and fatty than most other crispy snacks. an infusion of flavours

...Recently I have been looking for something to replace a couple of the cups of coffee I drink during the day and to reduce my intake of caffeine and came across a wonderful selection of flavoured infusions in ASDA, part of their own range and after much deliberation ended up with 4 different flavours to try as I just could not make up my mind but today I am drinking Tangerine, Peach and Echinacea flavour. OK, what to I get for my 64p, a pack of 20 tea bags which has a new design on the front from the one shown above, mine has a glass tumbler filled with peach and tangerine wedges with a flower on the top with a green circle advising that these are naturally caffeine free. Review of ASDA Peach and Echinacea Flavour Fruit Infusion

Full Flavour yeah - but full of what flavour?!

Advantages: Really low fat and calorie; taste like mature cheddar
Disadvantages: Turns to sweaty, salty, crumbly mess after a few days

...Since I was little I have always loved really strong mature white cheddar cheese. Apparently, I used to grab a block of the stuff and sit under the table nibbling it. How I was not overweight when little I cannot think. Now that I'm grown up and obviously, being a teenage girl, I'm more health conscious (though in no way do I deny myself, as seen by my other reviews). If there is a healthier alternative to things I will take it. I was delighted when I found 'Rosemary Conley's low fat mature full flavour cheddar cheese' at £1.98 in Asda. Now, I thought, I can have as much cheese on everything as I want and not worry and fat and calories! Apparently, Highlander crisps aren't all that widely available around the UK so it's hardly surprising that they export a greater percentage of their output than is consumed at home. This may have something to do with the parent company being Italian (San Carlo), but either way, it's a shame because to my mind, they're a far better crisp than Walkers or Golden Wonder. This particular flavour is ROAST BEEF. So how will you know a packet of these when (or if) you see them carefully stacked on a supermarket shelf? Tesco Flavoured Sparkling Water

Advantages: The price!
Disadvantages: Some flavours can be too sweet

...When it comes to flavoured water, I only like the sparkling variety. Is tarted off drinking Marks & Spencers flavoured water, but they were so expensive that they became a treat only. Then I tried Tesco's own range which I found to be excellent quality for the price. My favourite flavour is Apple & blackberry. It has a much more natural taste than some of the other flavours which can be sickeningly sweet. It has to be drank chilled for the best flavour, & is really refreshing, especially on a hot summers day. Best of all, the whole range is very low in calories which means if you're on a diet you CAN have a soft drink which tastes good & doesn't taste as though you're sucking on a saccharin tablet! The range is great value at 42p per bottle, but is usually available on a multibuy, which means you can get 3 bottles for only a quid...

I have usually stuck to yop, or similar shakes but I must admit the various opinions I have read here on ciao have convinced me that I was missing out on something. I have wondered what the attraction is and so I have tried two different flavours. The first one was chocolate, which was nice but nothing special to shout about. The one I want to talk about is the limited edition toffee popcorn flavour, I have a weakness for anything toffee flavoured so I thought I could not go wrong here, WRONG!!! when I tasted it I got my huband Tom to do a taste test with me. ...I am a big fan of crisps and in my opinion there are none better than Walkers, so as it was me who requested this topic was posted then I should probably add my own opinion. So here goes my top ten crisp flavours. 1. Walkers Sensations ? Roast Chicken and Thyme. A new generation of Walkers crisps and these have knocked cheese and onion off the top spot after years of domination. These have a very strong and distinctive flavour and are well worth a try. 2.
