During the events many passengers made calls to their families and loved ones to say their goodbyes and to tell them of the events which were happening on the plane which eventually went down in a field in Pennsylvania killing all 40 passengers, the crew and the four hijackers. Dial a Flight

Advantages: heklpful polite and friendly service
Disadvantages: the flight prices advertised are not always available upon phoning

...I have used dial a flight on a number of occasions now, and have always been impressed with their service. I found them on a web site, but as the title suggests you cannot book the flights over the internet. The web site gives you a quote for your flight and the telephone number. Quite often though when you get through to them and quote the price there is a drawback to the price. When I was generally looking around for a flight to Alicante for my son about 6 weeks ago, I found this what seemed a really good deal, £49 return!!! I rang Dial a flight and found that he would have had to travel first to Barcelona and then onto Alicante. A bit of a marathon for a short flight really, even though the price was brilliant. It does not mention these things on the web site. However I am actually writing an op on the telephone service so...

The Duffle Bag Boyz Take Flight

...The duo of Tity Boi and Dolla Boy (known collectively as Playaz Circle) brought ?Flight 360: The Takeoff? as their second album in 2009. Flight to Mars.

Advantages: Not too bad.
Disadvantages: Quite Dated

...Flight to Mars. Evil Martians plotting to invade the Earth. A space ship is launched for the first landing on Mars. But when they get there Mars is full of Martians and they are not the friendliest bunch. The Martians are running low on all of their resources and plan to invade and occupy the Earth. The scientist and big mouth reporter who accompanied them are Earths only hope of stopping the invasion. The Martians turn out to look exactly like humans! There is a love interest to the story and some weird looking weapons. The plot of the movie is poor and smacked of ?first men in the moon?. The special effects where above average for the day it was made and the acting was good apart from the Martians who way over acted and hammed it up far too much. Flight Plan - Everyone thinks she's crazy.

Advantages: A good thriller, with an interesting story line.
Disadvantages: Perhaps not enough tension for some.

...This is a movie that I bought for £3 from Asda. It took me a long time to get around to viewing it, but when I did, I was pleasantly surprised. Flight Plan is a thriller directed by Robert Schwentke and starring Jodie Foster, Peter Sarsgaard, Erika Christensen, and Sean Bean. It was released by Touchstone Pictures in 2005, and is based on the classic film The Lady Vanishes, which was released 67 years earlier. I am a bit of a wimp these days when it comes to watching films. Anything over a 12 rating and I have to sit near the door. If there is any hint of violence I am usually known to go and make a cup of tea! Don?t get me wrong, I like a good action movie, I just find it hard to cope with the tension and violence. Take Flight and laugh!

Advantages: An unusual, largely unheard of, comedy treat
Disadvantages: Quality varies over all 12 episodes, no DVD extras

...Allow me to clear this up for a start - 'Flight of the Conchords (FotC)' is NOT some kind of tribute DVD for faster than the speed of sound, now sadly defunct, aircraft. However, it IS a collection of the 12-part comedy series (seen by about 36 people on BBC4 in 2007) that originally launched on HBO in the USA. Focussing on New Zealand's 4th biggest folk band of the same name, Flight of the Conchords follows the adventures of an hirsute musical duo (New Zealanders Jemaine Clement and Bret McKenzie) as they try to make it big in New York. Whilst the pair play their roles seriously in the show , in real-life they write and sing parodies, perform at festivals and featured in a Radio 2 show that starred Rob Brydon as their manager! ...A great trip - thanks to Dial-A-Flight and Korean Air (and a few tips) We just returned from visiting friends and family in New-Zealand. We had a great time travelling around and catching up with everyone but what topped the holiday off was the fact that our travelling to Auckland and back was so hassle-free! This is all thanks to Oscar - our booking agent at Dial-A-Flight. We booked 7 months ahead and as I am sure everybody does, searched the internet in depth to find the best available price for our selected dates. Flights of Fancy

Advantages: Non-taxing easy read, some comic elements
Disadvantages: Lacking in substance, trying to do too much but ultimately neither fish nor fowl!

...The Flight of the Maidens by Jane Gardam has got a great looking cover (not the version pictured here) and so perhaps I fell into the age-old clichéd trap on judgment! Nevermind the picture, the reviews quoted are highly enticing - I now wonder if in fact this is the cover to another book altogether! The novel is set in a Yorkshire seaside town in the post-war summer of 1946, and centres around three eighteen year old girls Hetty, Una and Lieselotte. At the start of the novel they each receive scholarship letters to university and we then follow how they spend the summer months before they leave their hometown for pastures new. Thus far so good, this premise seems to set us up nicely for a light rites of passage tale. However, as the three friends split apart for the summer with barely converging plotlines there becomes just too...

Disadvantages: None really, except maybe best enjoyed by those with some prior knowledge of Wilde

As a reviewer for the Pall Mall Gazette, he could master a book's content, plot or argument in minutes. (If only ciao had been around in those days as well). Maybe it is only fair to get the one major chink in his armour out of the way quickly.
