Corporate Pilot brings you half-a-dozen new aircraft to experience as add-ons to Microsoft's
Flight Simulator
2000 for the PC. All are luxurious examples of the modern executive aircraft and include the transcontinental Dassault FalconJet
2000, the Cessna Citation X and the glorious Beechcraft Starship One. This looks like a design exercise from Crimson Skies--canard wings, pusher props and vertical surfaces located at the wingtips--but 53 were actually built and still fly. There's a good \"
flight school\"" section in the manual covering the basics of
flight, navigation and
flight instrumentation, manoeuvres, approaches, landings, runways, lighting systems and visibility. There are also seven Round Robin adventures to fly, six in America and one in Austria to experience the Foehn wind at Innsbruck. All adventures take place on tight corporate schedules, with calls at several airports of varying size and sophistication, in a variety of seasons and weather conditions. Runway layouts and further charts are provided for each outing. The aircraft cockpits are well detailed with a wide forward view and the six aircraft give a good variety of executive transport from the relatively mundane Cessna 441 Conquest to the aforementioned FalconJet. But don't buy it for those, buy it for the beautiful Starship. --Mark Whitehorn"
