...Flight to Mars. Evil Martians plotting to invade the Earth. A space ship is launched for the first landing on Mars. But when they get there Mars is full of Martians and they are not the friendliest bunch. The Martians are running low on all of their resources and plan to invade and occupy the Earth. The scientist and big mouth reporter who accompanied them are Earths only hope of stopping the invasion. The Martians turn out to look exactly like humans! There is a love interest to the story and some weird looking weapons. The plot of the movie is poor and smacked of ?first men in the moon?. The special effects where above average for the day it was made and the acting was good apart from the Martians who way over acted and hammed it up far too much. Advantages: VERY IMPRESSIVE FILM

...'s lives are hard and hopeless and they grift as best they can to get by. The gloom extends to the locations too, from the grey and empty streets of London to the cold and desolate Brighton beach. Advantages: Pleasent stay, good food, central location

...Flight 93 is something that I do not believe we will ever fully understand, not because of our limitations to cope with the facts but because the facts will not in my opinion ever be revealed to us. The events which occurred on 9/11 have been subject to much speculation and cause for many conspiracy theories, the film ?Flight 93? was created to show us ?what happened? on one of the planes whilst in the sky. A great way to humanise an early Ryanair flight

Advantages: Stylish, very close the the airport and not outrageously expensive
Disadvantages: Not much reason to go if you aren't flying

...Stansted airport used to be like a second home to me. I worked in the joyless town of Haverhill about 20 miles away and I flew out of Stansted at least once a week for many years. It used to be a super little airport where you could turn up shortly before the flight, drop your car in the short-stay and fly off without any trouble, but as the airport has grown it's become a much less pleasant and convenient place to use. So when I discovered the best way to get to Bremen in Germany on the day I needed to go was a 6.30 am Ryanair flight out of Stansted, I decided I'd do it but only if I could stay at the airport. Stranded in London!

Advantages: Excellent central location; good bars and restaurants
Disadvantages: Rooms a bit old fashioned; a little pricey

..." - the inner courtyard of the hotel with the humming air conditioners at the bottom. I can live (or sleep) with that, but there was also an awful rattling, like pipes, coming from somewhere in the ceiling. We went back downstairs to complain, and were told there were no other rooms. After standing our ground they eventually checked us in to an alternative room on the 4th floor. A little bigger, but still not brilliant - probably "average", from past business stays down in London hotels. The reception staff weren't particularly friendly, as other reviews have mentioned. Despite being "club" rooms, all that appeared to be different was the decor. Instead of old-fashioned wall-to-wall flowerey decor and furnishings, it was plain duck-egg walls, and a "modern" bed (faux-leather headboard and plain brown and green blankets). Not worth the extra money...

Not Much Sleep To Be Had at The Comfort Inn London

Advantages: It's relatively cheap to stay in the room, so it's not all too bad.
Disadvantages: The staff, the prices in the restaurant, I know it's London, but I was shocked

...Here is the review: When we decided to book our trip to New York for my 18th we knew the only way to really get to London, was by National Express. Only one of us drives and that person doesn?t feel safe on motorways. The National Express journey was terrible, but when we booked the package, we also booked a hotel called Comfort Inn. We were quite shocked when we were dropped outside of Terminal 5, to then have to wait about 20 minutes for another bus to get to the hotel. I myself was quite shocked to find that the trip took about 20 minutes to get to the Comfort Inn; I thought it would have been on the doorstep of Heathrow, but apparently I was very naive in this aspect. I truthfully thought that when we got to the airport, we?d drag our suitcases around the corner and then ta da, we?ll be at the hotel. This is my own fault...

...undertaking a bit more research, which I will provide later in this review, I identified that I could get flights to London City Airport from Manchester departing on the Thursday evening at 5.20pm returning on the Friday at 3.50 pm for the price of £123.60 including taxes fees and charges. So having presented the various facts and figures to my bosses it was decided that I could fly to London. OK so having flown into London City Airport what were my first impressions. Well clearly it is only a small airport which deals predominantly with internal flights and certain European destinations, which I will list in further detail later in this review.
