...What do you need to uncompress those zip files. There's Winzip, WinRAR and WinAce for starters. They are all shareware and let you have a go before buying them. They all have powerful features that let you taylor them to suit the type of compression you want. But do you really need all these features. Most people only need a zip tool to uncompress zip files downloaded from the internet. Once these files are extracted the tool is forgotten about. If your running WinME it has the free tool Compressed Folders. You will need to go into the Control Panel and click on Add/Remove programs. Then click on the Windows Setup tab and scroll down to System Tools. You will find this utility within this group. Just tick the box and ME will install it for you. Sure, if they are audio files I belive that WinAmp can make a list (I don't have WinAmp so I don't know this for sure). With PrintFolder Pro you can print/save a list of files located in any folder; customise file lists; sort folders; edit before printing; previews; print parent folder &/or subfolders. Ipod,a tool for the clueless generation

...nothing special, its just another ipod but with video playback. i bought mine under a year ago and the screen is starting to fuzz up and occasionally it crashes and i have to leave it to let the battery die so it works again....dont get me started on the battery; it only goes down to 4-5 hours.The only way i can replace it is to send it back to apple and for a hefty fee get it replaced (since the warrenty on the battery was for only 3 months) They are very durable and do not break if theyre dropped though, which is good for me since i tend to not take care of my things when they are lying around the house. they are nicely designed (with the touch wheel) and are easier to control moving through your music albums.The files are nicely displayed, as you can sort your files into your own folders for you to find quickly when in public...

...slide your finger across and it goes to the next photo. ITunes seems to load the pictures on twice, I don't know how to only load on one folder without it copying it onto another folder. Playing games on the iPod is great, the screen is colourful and the variety on iTunes is amazing, most of them are free to download! Also, the built in accelorometer adds to the fun. The touch is sensitive on the screen so you press it once, not stabbing it hard! Sound quality is excellent, good balance of treble and bass. You can set the equaliter settings to suit you, although they are pre-set. Surfing the web is good too, to zoom in and out just pinch the screen. I would rather prefer surfing the net on a normal computor but if you're away then it is fine. The iPod Touch is the best mp3 player I've ever had and it is truly amazing. You get lots...

Unless of course you have the iPod blasting through your ears as you pound through your local park listening to your favourite tunes. Ever been to a family reunion or outing and forgot to take the photos? Well now you don't have to worry as this wonder also is able to store photos. Simply place all your photos into one folder and at the click of a button you can be enjoying the (embarrasing) memories. As you would expect, this machine does have it's disadvantages. The stainless steel screen is prone to scratching and within an hour of listening to music, scratches were evident. After this it is only little things such as trying to get the thing out of your pocket and accidentally putting the volume on to full blast or getting the headphones...

Best iPod Yet

Advantages: Great build quality, does it's job well, screen is tough and brilliant battery life.
Disadvantages: Back of iPod scratches really easily, and screen suffers from fingerprints easily.

...and do the job they indented to do very well. At the bottom of the screen there are 4 buttons, Music, Videos, Photos and iTunes. When you press music you are taken to your music, and you can select from Playlists, Artists, Albums etc as usual. And if you flip the iPod on it's side, it quickly and smoothly changes to the cover flow, which is also nice and smooth and is easy to use. When you tap on an album, the cover flips over to give a list of songs, very simple and easy to use. Pressing Videos takes you to the list of videos you have stored on your iPod, and tapping on one plays it, in the same format as a youtube video, nice and simple. The video quality is fantastic, also the big screen means you can watch it without having to hold it 6 inches from your face. Tapping on Photos takes you to your photos, giving you a choice of folders...

...Prior to getting my iPhone I thought they were an oversized, non-user friendly piece of kit everyone seemed to have just for the sake of having the latest toy. I was wrong. The iPhone is the best thing I ever owned. The touchscreen in my opinion is a wonderful addition. Zoom in and out, drag, spin, type, skim read easily by a flick of the finger. I manage a website so I can use the phone on the go to access the site as you would see it on a typical computer screen - I can zoom in and out on certain areas or turn the screen for a better view. The keypad enables me to enter content onto the site also. Email can be set up easily, and the display is excellent. I have folders set up in my inbox and switching between folders is very easy. Calling quality is much better than my previous phone and the menu options for the phone are great...
