...Restaurante A Fonte, is from the outside a small place but a little like a tardis on the inside, with covers in the main front dining area for 30 and then at the back another room that can seat another 20, so not a bad size. Robert found it on one of his saunters whilst I was sat by the pool reading. All he saw was the board on the end of the side street and thought I will go and look. He did and liked what he saw so 11 of went and had dinner there 3 nights out of the 7 that we where staying in Cabanas. All the staff spoke wonderful English and put our attempts at Portuguese to shame. The food was excellent and we went back again and again. The cover is wonderful brown and white bread and butter, tuna pate, sardine pate, olives and between the 11 they placed 4 plates of each. Our order was as follows: 5 Beef stroganoff...

My review of Cala Font

Advantages: on the beach
Disadvantages: set on very steep hill, not good for wheelchair users

...I visited Salou in June 2007 and stayed at the CALA FONT HOTEL. This was my first time abroad, (I went as a single parent with my children ages 10 and 14) so we didn't really know what to expect, we arrived in the early hours of the morning so couldn't really see much, but it all looked very nice on arrival and through the reception. On waking in the morning we had the chance to look around, the room was clean and tidy, we had a view of the pool, but could also see the beach from our balcony, lovely views. The hotel is right on the beach and has it's own private beach, which is quite small really but a huge public beach is just around the back of the hotel. The food was quite good, there is a house chef who has a dish of the day which he cooks in the restaurant rather that in the kitchen, well it isn't really a "dish" it's usually...

...This hotel offers excellent value for money for those wishing to stay near the town and ski station of Font Romeu. It is situated on the edge of Font Romeu, within walking distance of the town. However, it is in a quiet location, away from main roads and with parking available for guests. We stayed in a two bedroom self-catering apartment which had a well equipped kitchenette, bathroom, and separate toilet. There was also a bunk bed near the kitchen area and sofa bed in the living-room/dining-room area. Although self-catering the hotel offers a linen and towel package. ...We stayed at the Hotel Cala Font on the Autumn of 2004 for a week and enjoyed our stay there so much we returned the following spring. The Cala Font is a three star hotel in the Cap de Salou area of Salou on the Costa Dorada. Please note that the Cap de Salou is almost a small hill - so nearly everywhere you go either involves moderate slopes or steps - If any of your party have any difficulty walking it is advisable not to stay in this area of Salou. Salou town centre however is fairly flat and should not present any problems. We opted for half board. The food was buffet style and good. However due to the large mix of nationalities staying at the hotel, you may need to look a little harder than usual to find a main course you are acustomed to - we found it an ideal way to try cuisines different to our norm. LG KF300: Fab if you want A basic phone with large Keys and font.

Advantages: deceent battery life, great in doing the basics, simple to use, great range of font sizes.
Disadvantages: Lacks Wi-Fi & GPS, Disappointing camera. inconveniently placed MicroSD slot!

Still a good netbook

Advantages: Good ergonomics, rugged, good battery life, matte screen

...is not an issue at all, as contrast is good enough to make text readable. The small resolution(1024x600)however, makes coding on the NC10 pretty difficult. This became less of an issue as I started using a small font and coding in Python, a very dense language. There's one thing I love about the NC10's screen: it's matte.
