Another feature of Fool, perhaps the best feature, is that of the message boards. Each board is a thriving community of messages and often very helpful members. They are monitored by Fool staff, reducing the risk of ‘pumping and dumping’ and other spam. The boards seem more useful than other financial sites, comments are generally relevant and flaming is uncommon. The boards cover most areas from individual stocks to particular industries to general questions and commons. The format is quite easy to use once you get the hang of it. A wealth of information can be extracted from these boards and can be a very helpful tool in monitoring your portfolio of interests. Definitely worth a visit... Read review

...This is one of the best and most useful financial website for UK investors. The good thing is, it has a sense of humour. This may put off the serious business executive but for normal people, it is fantastic. You would be a fool to miss out on the Motley Fool. It offers a huge amount of financial information that is easy for the ‘beginner’ investor to understand, and accurate enough for the expert or professional investor. The best facility on the Fool is the message boards. They contain the online community of Fool and provide surprisingly accurate, up to date information. ...The Motley fool (otherwise known simply as the fool) is my favourite financial web site. It has the usual ingredients of discussion boards, information on shares and other forms of investment, savings and loans. There is an overall concept to the site which suggests intelligence and vision; the basic theme is that the fool is in fact wise, while the "wise", the finance industry, are the exact opposite. this can be seen in the trenchant articles on the scandal of endowments and on funds, where the conclusion is that a simple tracker beats the expensive management of the "wise" most of the time. The discussion boards are comprehensive, policed,and the fools do listen to the posters. In short, this is the ideal place to further your financial education whatever your present level of sophistication.... Read review

...There are lots of financial websites out there in cyberspace, not all of them with your best interests at heart. Some are a cover for stockbrokers, some are heavily slanted towards a particular type of consumer or punter; but the Motley Fool websites welcome you in, especially if you know nothing. They (esp. the US site) are very easy to read and the articles often assume that you have no previous knowledge - which is something of a bonus. The recommendations are honest and thoughtful, and even the tips and bulletin boards are informative and useful. The follow-on books offered for sale are also extremely good, and perfect as an Internet training tool, too.... Read review

...The Motley Fool is a sound financial website with good news, quotes and charts about a wide range of shares. What makes Motley Fool stand out from the rest of the pack is their "foolish" guide to investing and helpful bulletin boards where investors can discuss ideas. Don't believe all you read though, it's best to take all information with a pinch of salt! The Foolish guide is a good read and will help set you in the right direction before making a trade. The charts feature is very good as comparisons between the company's performance and the stockmarket in general can be shown on a chart over time.... Read review

...Truly the oracle of al things financial... and quite a bit more. The Motley Fool (TMF) will tell you what mortgage to get, who to trust with your savings, which credit card won't break the bank and when to by the shares that are hot. There are a number of calculator programmes, which let you feed in your own details and then give advice on the best financial products for you. But the best thing here is the myriad of message boards. My favourites include Football Fools (not exactly financial, this one); Living Below Your Means (how to get through life without spending so much money, and utilise the internet for financial ends); and the selection of literally hundreds of boards that act as forums for different stocks. ...I have been a registered 'Fool' for the past two years. The site has certainly helped me obtain knowledge on the investment industry, particularly in how to pick shares to invest in! All articles on the site are written in an easy to understand plain English format with a sense of humour! No confusing finnancial speak on here. The portfolio tracker gives you quotes on your investments delayed by 15 minutes and also links you to the message boards. You see you are not alone at the fool, there is a large, helpful community of fellow investers to help guide you through the initial trials and tribulations of share ownership! My judgement has certainly improved since I started using the site and started to ignore the uninformed or malicious(Daily Mirror) share tips in the press. ..."Is it the best?" he said. He reclined in the seat and contemplated his comments. My husband is an avid TV and Film Buff. He also fancies himself as a bit of a screenwriter. Out of interest I enquired as to what he was referring. Did he think that Mother Nature's son was the best ever Only Fools and Horses, or was his comment related to the series as a whole, compared to other comedy's? When asked to contemplate this question he concluded that Only Fools and Horses was the best comedy of all time, highlighting an upbeat spirit which the British would always enjoy, with the attitude to strive for more. He also concluded that Mother Natures son was the best ever Only Fools and Horses episode. Mother Natures Son follows Del Boy & Rodney on another of their 'money making schemes'. Quality of contributors: There are a large number of well-informed contributors, producing balanced, reasoned, intelligent discussion. The Motley Fool staffers (identified by TMF prefix in their usernames) are active on the board, moderating and contributing much themselves. Rampers are quickly told where to go, and posts which breach rules will be removed. 2. Search facility: The search facility is good, allowing a search through the thousands of past messages. Quite often, I recall seeing something a couple of months ago and want to look at it again, and the search facility enables me to find it. 3.
