How to do an ollie!!!
Review of Skateboarding - General by
mrky
Advantages:
Disadvantages:
...At the first i want to say that the ollie is something like the ticket for the skate - world!!!
1. Stand on the board with your rear foot placed on the tail and your front foot between the middle of your board and the front bolts. 2. Place the ball of your rear foot in the middle of the board so that when you push the tail down, the ball of your foot feels the pressure.
3. Place your front foot nearly straight across the board.
4. Practice pushing down as fast as you can with your back foot and putting all your weight on the tail. This is the initial motion of the trick.
5. Notice that the harder you push, the more your board wants to keep going up once the tail is on the ground. You will use that motion in the next step.
6. Strike the tail on the ground and jump off with your rear foot as you slide your front foot up the board...

Review of Avon Cooling Leg and Foot Gel by
bab.jones
Advantages: Very Soothing
Disadvantages: none
...Avon foot works was introduced to me when I had tired feet and legs after a good walk.
It is now a favorite product of mine, one that I use often.
Foot works comes in a white tube, with blue writing and a blue screw cap.
On the front is a blue square that has the outline drawing of a foot in white on it.also the word foot, the word works is in pink.Below that it says cooling leg and foot gel it repeats that in two more languages.
On the back it has directions for use, ingredients, and quantity in the tube 75ml.
In an instant it smells slightly medicated but that is all.
It is a clear smooth non sticky gel.
Place a small amount of gel on your fingertips and massage into foot or leg it is quickly absorbed and is not messy to use
This is to be bought from your avon representative for the price of £1.50 this is very good value a tube...

COOL FEET ALL DAY!!!!
Review of Oriflame Foot Deodorising Foot Powder by
SecretFormula
Advantages: dry no odour feet!!!
Disadvantages:
...I would have to recommend, for all those girlies out there who wear their shoes with no socks or tights this time of the year, because apparently it is suppose to be summer at the moment!!!!, the oriflame foot deoderiser. Its brilliant!! I never wear shoes bare footed without it now, i find that i rub a little on my feet between toes and then sprinkle some into the shoe itself. No more hot, sweaty smelly feet after a hard day at work!!! My feet stay dry all day and there is no odour at all!! can't be bad!!!!...

Oriflame Foot Powder
Review of Oriflame Foot Deodorising Foot Powder by
angelwds
Advantages: Keeps your feet fresh all day
Disadvantages: None spring to mind
...I have used this product regularly for the last couple of years. I find it extremely gentle on the skin and very smooth & silky . It is excellent for keeping feet fresh and cool particularly during the summer, but also in colder weather when your feet may get hot from wearing thick tights or socks. It is also useful fo keeping shoes/boots etc. fresh - a little sprinkle freshens up shoes a treat. Another advantage is that this product is part of a complete footcare range including foot bath, creams, gel and scrub (they even have a foot file). All designed to help keep your feet in tip top condition. These products are suitable for men also as they have a fresh rather than a feminine fragrance. Look out for an Oriflame consultant in your area!...

Pure Indulgence
Review of Scholl DR6653UK by
jeannie5
Advantages: Very very very relaxing
Disadvantages: Quite noisey
...A few months ago i brought a Scholl Revitalise Foot Spa, as i sometimes suffer from sore feet and i love being pampered. I have had some Scholl products in the past so i knew they were a good healthcare brand to buy from.
Anyway, when i got it home i had the chance to give it a proper look over and give it a try.
The packaging was very strong and durable, and was also very attractive and eye-catching (i wouldn't of noticed it otherwise). On the front of the box it shows you the product and gives you a taster of what you are getting. On the back of the box it tells you (in detail) exactly what you are getting, and also shows a picture of the product.
I was very shocked (but pleased) when i opened the box as i wasn't expecting the foot spa to be as big as it was, this isn't a disadvantage though as there is more room for your feet...

Peppermint Cooling Foot Lotion
Review of The Body Shop Peppermint Foot Lotion by
lawjlove
Advantages: Smells great, last ages and softens feet
Disadvantages: quite expensive
...This product is the best foot lotion i have ever used, it smells quite nice and is not sticky........it is another great product by the Body Shop and supports all of their five core values including contains community trade products.
The product is an all in one softening and reviving lotion that contains natural peppermint oil with menthol to freshen and it also contains cocoa butter to smooth and soften the skin.
The product is used by runners all around the country and is extremely popular with runners who participate in the London Marathon.
Great for tired feet, with stimulating ingredients, great for this time of year for those pedicured feet.
Product
The product itself contains natural peppermint oil for its refreshing and revitalizing properties and cools and soothes the feet. Great for those hot days.

Pathetic - Not interested in the customer
Review of Footes by
willkeen
Advantages: None really, It's just a shop.
Disadvantages: Uninterested staff.
...I went into Footes in london to check out their drum equipment, having seen an ad in Rhythm Magazine. I went in and looked around for 10-15 minutes, during which time not a single person inquired as to whether I may need help, or even said hello. In the end, I sat down at their demo electric drum-kit and spent 25-30 minutes playing on it while my mum watched. The staff at the counter must have seen that we were clearly interested in the product, but during that time, not a single person paid us any attention. In the end, we decided that we wanted to buy an electric kit - but thanks to the behaviour of the staff, Footes have missed out on over £2000 worth of business....
Don't shop at Footes!...

It doesn't do much good, or make any difference
Review of Boots Softening Foot Lotion by
catalina
Advantages: Much cheaper than other brands, you don't have to go to a speciality store to buy it.
Disadvantages: The effects don't last very long.
...I bought this product about a month ago. It was a lot cheaper than some other foot lotions, such as Aveda's or Scholl's. The problem is that it doesn't make much of a difference, after two weeks use. It smells really nice, it feels really great after massaging it on, but it doesn't have much long term results. My feet were moisturised, but only for the next couple of hours. Whereas with the Aveda or Scholl product, you can stop using it for a couple of days and still feel the benefits (softer, less hard edges), the results with the Boots Foot Softening Lotion disappeared as soon as you stopped using it. I would prefer foot products to have effects that lasted longer, rather than something you had to rely on every single day (who has the time?!)....

Tantalise Your Feet
Review of Virgin Vie Foot Steps Step Away Foot Scrub by
Aussieme1106
Advantages: Makes your feet tingle.....
Disadvantages: Can't find it on the VV website......
...I am constantly on my feet, whether it be at work, or at home with my 15 month old daughter, so I have to look after my feet. I found this product quite by accident, so now I review it for you.
Virgin Vie Foot Steps Step Away Foot Scrub.
For a start, if you are allergic to nuts, it contains WALNUT SHELLS, crushed, so it may be no good for you. It also contains LAVENDER, TEA TREE and PEPPERMINT OIL, so fair warning applies to those allergic to some or all of those ingredients.
It comes in a handy 100ml size tube, pale green in colour, and a black, screw-on lid. Under the screw-on lid is a seal which must be broken before first use.
Upon my first opening of the tube, I found it quite difficult to get the seal off, so I had to pierce it with scissors first, and then pull it off. When I finally managed to get the seal off, I...

Happy feet are here to stay
Review of Mycil Powder Puff Pack by
Aquarian
Advantages: Quickly relieves the symptoms of atheletes foot
Disadvantages: bit pricey
...After waking up in the night, with itchy feet that were doing my head in.
I rushed to the chemist the next morning and bought some Mycil athletes foot powder. I have used this before, as atheletes foot is one of those awful things that will reoccur every now and again.
This powder cost me 3.25 from Safeways and it comes in a dark blue plastic container with a yellow and blue label.
It has a picture of a yellow foot on the front which says, duel action and is in an easy to use puffer pack with flip up lid.
The words MYCIL are in blue capitals on the front of the pack.
Like I said, I have used this before having worked at a food factory where we all had to wear wellingtons and overalls, to prevent food contamination. This wearing of wellingtons for 6 hours a day did my feet no good and I ended up with atheletes foot.
You can buy...
