Pure Indulgence
Review of Scholl DR6653UK by
jeannie5
Advantages: Very very very relaxing
Disadvantages: Quite noisey
...A few months ago i brought a Scholl Revitalise Foot Spa, as i sometimes suffer from sore feet and i love being pampered. I have had some Scholl products in the past so i knew they were a good healthcare brand to buy from.
Anyway, when i got it home i had the chance to give it a proper look over and give it a try.
The packaging was very strong and durable, and was also very attractive and eye-catching (i wouldn't of noticed it otherwise). On the front of the box it shows you the product and gives you a taster of what you are getting. On the back of the box it tells you (in detail) exactly what you are getting, and also shows a picture of the product.
I was very shocked (but pleased) when i opened the box as i wasn't expecting the foot spa to be as big as it was, this isn't a disadvantage though as there is more room for your feet...

an sos for tired feet
Review of Remington Whirl Foot Spa by
sarahpervin
Advantages: refreshed feet
Disadvantages: having to fill it with water (i'm so lazy!)
...This was a wonderful and thoughtful gift from my boyfriend at Christmas as he knows how stressed out I get.
The spa costs £44.50 and has loads of different features these include, Heat, bubbles and heat, massage with heat, pedicure attachments and aromatherapy oils. My current favourite is the massage with heat.
The base of the spa has rollers in it, which you roll your feet over to help relax you.
At the front of the spa is the pedicure attachments, which include; pumice stone, acupressure, brush and a massage attachment. You have to push your foot on to this part and it whirls round under your foot. The acupressure one actually pushes the needles up at your foot, which sounds strange but feels wonderful. You can use this section without actually filing the spa with water.
The spa comes with 4 aromatherapy treatments, which...

Feet treats
Review of Remington Whirl Foot Spa by
ElizaDanby
Advantages: A real luxury, easy to clean and maintain
Disadvantages: Flimsy packaging
...My Remington Foot Spa was a birthday present following my mnay moans on sore feet after a day shelf stacking at Sainsburys. I was a student at the time and such luxuries were not going to enter my budget.
The spa comes with four beautifully scented treatments to be used, full instructions and a foot pumice.
I waited until a time when my feet ached badly before using the spa for the first time. Just having my feet in warm scented water was a treat enough, but once switched on, it was even better. The spa has two functions - whirl and massage, which can be used seperately, together and at two different speeds.
After twenty minutes, my feet were completely revived. I could have sat there all night but it is recommended that 20 minutes is the maximum time.
I would recommend this to anyone whether they have sore feet or not...

Just vibrate or bubble and heat?
Review of Tesco FOOT SPA by
spottydog2
Advantages: Soothing, relaxing.
Disadvantages: Too much hassle to use often.
...Last Christmas I received a Tesco`s Foot Spa as a present. I was pleased to have been given the opportunity to try it, as I knew I would not buy one myself. At the same time as being pleased, I thought where am I going to keep it as it is quite big. Anyway, looking positively, I could not wait to try it.
Appearance
* * * * * * * * *
The Tesco Foot Spa is predominanty white with pale blue at the front and stripes at the bottom. The feet are pale blue. It is plastic. The inner bottom where you place your feet has hundreds of nodules to stimulate your feet. At the back there are two little mounds with larger bobbles on, presumably to rest your heels on if you wish, though I find it a bit uncomfortable if you do, you don`t have to. There is another larger mound in the middle. This is quite comfortable when you rest your inner...

TIGER'S IN A WHIRL OF HER OWN...
Review of Remington Whirl Foot Spa by
Tiger_Eyes
Advantages: Soothing, relaxing and pampering...
Disadvantages: ...can get messy...and heavy to carry if you've got a bad back
...When a Tiger gets sore paws, the best cure for sure is use of a [Remington] Foot Spa!
I was given one of these beauties five birthdays ago… and what a sore paw soother it is!
The unit comes with a boxed set of oils for extra indulgence. You can choose from:
>> Lavender + Vitamin E [not advised during pregnancy] for relaxing and moisturising
>> Eucalyptus & Tea Tree for stimulating and cleansing
>> Fresh Lemon for invigorating and refreshing
>> Cool Peppermint for soothing and reviving
Tiger’s Tip: If none of the above appeal, you could try adding a few drops of virgin olive oil to the water - believe me, it does wonders for moisturising your tootsies!
To get your aching paws soothed to perfection, all you have to do is follow these simple steps (a full set of printed instructions is provide with the unit):
1. Fill the foot...

A complete relaxation experience
Review of Remington Aroma Footspas by
lamoon1
Advantages: Completely relaxing
Disadvantages: Quite noisy
...OOOOHHHH what bliss!
I have a condition called Lupus which mostly affects my legs and feet. My lovely daughter bought me this foot spa as an early Christmas present ( think she was fed up of all the moaning!)
I wasn't convinced about foot spas but WOW!
You get:
The foot spa
A lid
A pumice stone
3 aromatherapy oils (Lemon, Lavender and Peppermint)
Instructions
So then, you have to decide which oil to use ...decisions, decisions. My feet were hot and burning so I used the cooling Peppermint oil. You just fill with water to the maximum line (I suggest you put a towel on the floor first), put the lid on, add 2 capfuls of oil, put your feet in and turn it on. There are 2 settings - I put it on high but the noise got on my nerves so I turned it down. I didn't think it'd be so good on low but it was just as relaxing. The only problem...

Revitalising The Wreck!
Review of Remington Revitalising Foot Spa by
mizzameII
Advantages: Cheap. Pampering. Relaxing.
Disadvantages: Noisy. Basic.
...September 12th 2003, Birmingham Ciao meet, (no this opinion isn’t in the wrong category… I shall continue) and a rather drunken Mizzame manages to fall down quite a number of stairs on quite a number of occasions. At the time I didn’t feel a thing, next day I had one hell of a bruised leg and foot. At the time my thanks had to go to Deano (RIP) who somehow managed to return me to my hotel without me actually breaking any bones which believe me is totally, totally unbelievable.
Anyway 2 weeks later back in sunny Manchester I found myself hopping around the house in total agony, I’m a terrible patient and living alone, having nobody to moan at has made the whole healing process so much harder to bear until I remembered that I own a foot spa. I received the REMINGTON REVITALISING FOOT SPA one Christmas, a welcomed gift from my now ex in...

Relaxing Hen Weekend!
Review of Thermae Bath Spa by
LIZKEMPO
Advantages: Great for a relaxing weekend treat!
Disadvantages: Can get expensive! Teething problems.
...to lift a handle situated at the back of the seat.
The lay out of the Spa was very clear with signs everywhere so getting around was easy enough.
We decided to head to the top and work our way down; at the very top of the Spa.
On the top floor is The Open Top Spa, the natural thermal water is heated and it feels amazing when you step into it. From the top of the building you also get amazing views over Bath it's self and a great look at the Cathedral. It was not a particularly warm day when we visited the Spa so we didn't spend a lot of time up there but on a sunny day it would be much better.
On the next level we popped in to check out the Steam Rooms and Foot Spa's, wit four glass steam rooms their was plenty of room for everyone, the rooms had a choice of smells including Menthol and Jasmine. I have to admit that Steam Rooms aren...

HAPPY FEET
Review of Remington Whirl Foot Spa by
benjamin
Advantages: relaxing and soothing
Disadvantages: can't be used in a bathroom so needs to be filled elsewhere.
...I bought my foot spa after discussing it's virtues during a reflexology course. I listened to the nurses amongst us extolling the benefits after spending hours on the wards. I decided if it was so good I would have to buy one myself. The pack came complete with 4 bottles of aromatherapy oils, peppermint, lemon, lavender, and tea tree. There are 4 different settings which can be used; High speed for a deep vigorous massage, High speed massage with a Whirl motion, Low speed for a gentle massage, and Low speed with Whirl motion, depending on your need. Again the oils are added depending on your mood.About 20 miutes is the time suggested while 500 massage nodes stimulate all parts of the feet. There are toe grips to locate the feet in the optimum position, and sloped and contoured foot rests for maximum comfort. A great way to bring yourself...
