...The Wii version of Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games has been with us for a while now, and it hasn't been too badly received either amongst the Wii-mote waving, button bashing members of the public out there, so now that the DS version has finally arrived, should these same gamers still be as excited as they were the first time around? Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games on the DS is certainly not short on features, 16 playable characters have all been included, each of which are split into four categories such speed, skill, power and the all rounder's, therefore you can choose which characters you would prefer to use for each event based on their ability. The game also offers plenty of choice when it comes to events, these range from sprinting, swimming and cycling to more specialist events such as fencing and gymnastics...

The best soccer games

Advantages: great graphic and game play.
Disadvantages: lack of license, but great flexibility to modify using Kit Server

... Overall The first thing I want to say is that this is the best soccer games that I've ever played. When I got the game last year, I doubt it might repeat the dissapointment of the previous version, but I was convinced that it's the best game when installed and started playing. Graphic Pro evolution soccer always gives great graphic quality with realistic models. The players look really alike from their real life. Compared to the last version, there is a great improvement on graphic performance. Although my computer uses a GeForce 7300 with 2GB RAM, I can play smoothly at medium graphic configuration. When I played the game on my friends computer, which allows highest graphic config, the quality is subperb. Just really enjoy it. Gameplay There is a big improvement of gameplay compared to the previous versions...

...During the 1990s, if you had a games console you would have probably been in one of two camps: Sega or Nintendo. I certainly was rooted firmly in the Sega camp having had a Mega Drive for many, many years with games like Street of Rage, Ecco the Dolphin and of course, Sonic the Hedgehog. I was a huge Sonic fan, playing the first and second game until completion and then starting up again a few days later as I loved everything about it, the colours, the gameplay.... everything. So if you tried to convince me that some 10-15 years later that Sonic and Mario would team up in a game, I probably would have just laughed. ...Having seen the advert for this game i was desperate to buy it as i have not had my wii for that long and i do not have many games. I eventually bought this game and i am so glad that i did as it is great fun. Players This game can be played as a one player or multiplayer as long as you have a wii remote for each player. Also you will need a nunchuck for each player although some of the games you can play with just the remote. Characters In this game you can play as characters from either sonic or mario such as sonic, tails, mario, princess daisy and yoshi. Each of the characters have different abilities which are split into speed, skill, power and stamina. you can choose a character who is a speed, skill, power or all around type which means that if you are playing a running game you would choose a character from the speed type...

The Best Three Football Games Ever

The football video gaming world has been dominated by two main titles - FIFA, created by EA Sports and also Pro Evolution Soccer (PES) created by Konami. Mario & Sonic at the Winter Olympic Games (Wii) is an 'ok' game.

Advantages: Lots of sports, can play with balance board, ability to play with a mii, dream events are fun.
Disadvantages: No real story, Balance Board controls poorly on most mini-games, might get boring quickly.

...First off, Mario and Sonic at the Olympic Winter Games is yet another mini-game collection. The Wii has seen a large amount of these types of games lately, so if yet another one is going to appear on the Wii, it had better be a good one. And that's the problem with this particular game. ...Over the years there has been hundreds of football from the early games such as "kick off and Emlyn Hughes" to the latest release from "EA and Konami" there has always been a battle between the top 2 games as much as there is a battle on the field between the top 2 teams. This is an old school game and i spent more time on this game with my brother then any other game.what made this no 1 for me was the game had everything in there that is football OK there was no 3d graphics or any of the tricks we see in all the modern footy games but it was what a footy game should be which was great gameplay the game ran smooth you could tackle each other and the goal keepers we actually reasonable in the sense they where not to difficult to beat but not easy...
