Richardson always has the previous weeks action and news including updates of the progress of the Italian clubs in the European competitions and the Italian Cup. The match broadcast on a Sunday is well presented. The commentaries of Clive Tyldesley or Peter Brackley are excellent and avoid the idiosyncratic nonsense which John Motson still thinks of as a commentary. The C4 commentators realise that viewers have switched to watch the football not listen to someone chuckle inanely and provide bland wallpaper comments. The best football program ever

Advantages: Very well presented, Looks like alot of time has been spent on it.
Disadvantages: Italian football itself can be boring sometimes

...This title sounds like its going over the top, but it is my honest opinion. Personally, although Italian football is very good technically, i don't always find it that exciting, but there is no doubt about the quality of the presentation of it on Channel 4. I regularly watch the live matches, but they have had some bad luck, including Inter - Brescia, one of the most boring games i have ever seen, but the really great thing about Football Italia is the weekly highlights/ magazine program, Gazetta, on Saturday mornings. James Richardson presents it very well, and it is very well structured, involving highlights, all the goals from the previous week, plus a round up of all the news stories, good interviews (Richardson speaks incredibly good Italian) and previews of the Sunday live match. Liquid football!

Advantages: Depth and challenge remain, but so much simpler for the time conscious!
Disadvantages: Well, some people just don't like football - fools!

Bella Italia - Milton Keynes

Advantages: Good menu, excellent food, nice atmosphere
Disadvantages: waiters average, can get bit crowded

...Bella Italia, formerly known as Bella Pasta is a chain of Italian Restaurants, about 60 odd, throughout the country. I visited this restaurant last week with my fiancée while out shopping in Milton Keynes. The restaurant is located near the shops with pubs and other restaurants next to it. Appearance --------------- On walking through the doors, you are greeted with a two level restaurant, actually very large, it could probably fit between 80 and 100 people in it! The décor was very nice and well kept, in an Italian style, all brown and beige colours. We noticed that the kitchen is open view in the diner so that you can see the chefs cooking which is an excellent thing - provides safe knowledge of food and adds character to the restaurant. Table Football. A good game

Advantages: Good game. Fun. Good Graphics.
Disadvantages: Takes some getting used to

...Ok so i wasnt too sure about tis game at first. Im not the best at table football on an actual table, so playing it in simulation did'nt seem the best idea, but something was telling me to give it a go. I was not too sure wether it would work well on screen and how the controls would work. But i have to say im pleasantly surprized that this is actually a good game. ...Football Italia has been coming on our screen for the last couple of years now and I think that Channel four should be commended for showing football from a different country, as very few terrestrial channels show football from abroad. They show a live match every Sunday and the goals from the rest of the games the following week. They do interviews and present it really well. It’s good to watch something different and from another country. The presenter's and football commentator's are of a very high standard. I watch Football Italia whenever I can as it is always nice to watch the best players in the world playing at club level for example Zidane, Ronaldo, some of the best players play in the league and it’s always nice to watch them in action. I'm sure I'm not the only one who thinks it is a good programme...

...Football manager 2009 has continued the football manager series with the same features and layout of the game as the past versions, but this time features a new 3D match view. The game has many good features that would make me more willing to buy this game over the biggest competitor, LMA Manager 2009. Firstly, the game can be installed very quickly, and you can choose the countries and the leagues who wish to play in, or buy players from. For example, if you only wanted to play in the English leagues, you can do so by only entering the English leagues to play in, however if you then in future wanted to play in another countries' league(s) you would have to hope that that country or club makes you an offer to manage them. Advantages: Good storyline, excellent acting, brilliant quality throughout

What can I say........

Advantages: Great show
Disadvantages: none that I have found

...Channel $ Football Italia is an excellent programme which is well presented and gives you a comprehensive round up of Italian football. It's really a programme of 2 halfs - on the saturday you get the previous weeks round up and latest footie gossip and then on sunday it gives you a live match. It makes match of the day pale into insignifucance in more ways then one. This programme is excellent viewing - I'm not a true footie fan but I watch this with out fail ever week. Basically if you want to know whats going on in Italian footie watch this show!...
