Advantages: Very Realistic, Deeply Engrossing
Disadvantages: Still Has Bugs

...Interactive are trying to find a few small bits to change each year to justify charging everyone for what is effectively a roster update. Do we really need a brand new version each year when surely Sports Interactive could release a payed for patch which would update the leagues required with realistic stats, change the start date of a new game, and update the squads with the latest transfers. I for one would rather pay around 10 pounds to get a patch like that than 25 pounds for a complete game every year. Also Football Manager 2007 does seem to have lost a little something. I am not sure if I am just reaping all the luck I should have been getting over the last 8 years of playing Sports Interactive football management games but this one just seems to be a little easier. The new football manager 2008 is very confusing, too many menu options and lacks the simplicity provided by this game. ...This is the BEST football managment simulation for PC. This game makes you feel like a real football manager. This game allows you to manage any team in over 50 countries and you can buy any of 290,000 players on the game (depending on database size). Football Manager 2007 has improved due to scouting allowing you to be told about the best players which your club can attract. You can do pre match and full time team talks, along with talking to the press before and after the game. The game is faster than 2005 & 2006 as they have made the game more compressed. This game is much better than Championship Manager and shocks do happen as i beat Chelsea 3-0 with Sunderland and i only bought Anelka.
