About the Band Barenaked Ladies are a Canadian alternative rock band, renowned for their comedic lyrics, humorous rapping and general quirky take on songs. Three Men and a Little Lady

Advantages: Funny, English scenes

...Three Men and a Little Lady Last time we saw Mary she was a cute little baby and her mother had just decided to stay in New York with Mary's three daddies, Peter, Michael and Jack, instead of moving back to England. Peter, Michael and Jack, Jack being MAry's real father, had grown very attached to Mary, despite their previous bachelor lifestyles and couldn't imagine thier lives without her. Fast forward 5 years and the guys and Mary's mother Sylvia have got their routine down perfectly. They all take her out for a walk, they have a special rap they sing her as a bed time song and life is good. However, we all know that when things are going well and life is settled and content, generally something happens to stir things up. The Lady Vanishes - Or Does She?

Advantages: An enjoyable Hitchcock thriller with a fair bit of comedy
Disadvantages: Some might find it dated

...The Lady Vanishes is an Alfred Hitchcock thriller released in 1938. In a fictional Central European country just prior to World War II a handful of British people are delayed overnight due to an avalanche. As their home bound train not due to leave until the morning; we get to see these travellers in an over booked hotel trying to get food and sleep against the odds. Iris is on her way home to get married and becomes acquainted with the pleasant elderly Miss Froy during the evening at the hotel. Their acquaintance is due to a mutual complaint about a very noisy guest above their rooms who turns out to be the rather annoying Gilbert, a musician (or rather a musicologist). The Lady is BLACK

Advantages: Great fun

...This game as you can probably imagine has many variations to it's name, most being somewhat vulgar so we shall quickly digress. The game rules are very simple but the playing can be as complicated as you like, tactics can very often land you in deep **** or alternately they can scoop you the lot. I first started to play this whilst in the Army and we played for 1p a point, just to make it a bit more interesting. The object of the game is similar to trumps and bridge except in this instance certain cards MUST be avoided. These cards are the complete suit of hearts and the Queen of Spades ( The Lady ). Each card is worth it's face value with all face cards being valued at 10 points. The Queen being the card you should avoid most is worth a whopping 50 points. The cards are dealt between all players each getting an equal amount...

Our Lady Peace not on fire yet

Advantages: OLP with a new album is always good, Raine's voice, More musical freedom
Disadvantages: Sounds like their missing some of the magic of their really early stuff

...Having been a long time Our Lady Peace fan I was quite surprised when I saw Burn Burn available for download on Amazon, having never actually even known of it's existence until I saw it (shows what a great fan I am) I placed it in my virtual trolley and purchased it without reading anything about it. In fact despite their being samples of each track on the site I decided that Canadians were good enough and I was a big enough fan to just go and get it blind. Our Lady Peace have been around for a little over a decade now, and probably scored their biggest hit with a non-album track (well originally it was non-album) called ?Whatever?, it was better known as Chris Benoit's entrance music when he was in the wwf/wwe before his death. Though what is perhaps lesser know (out side of North America) is that they are an incredibly strong band...
