Disadvantages: Not much space on the back seats but its a fiesta not a limo.

...The Ford Fiesta 1.25 is a great car, ford first brought the 1.25 zetec fiesta out in 1996 on the mk4 fiesta, and from that day they put zetec engines in all the fiesta they brought out. The fiesta is still one of the best reliability and cheap car today. The 1.25 engine is a nippy car and is great for young students who what to drive and buy their first car, but also older people who would like a cheap car. i've got a fiesta 1.25 zetec and never had no problems with it so far. In my opinion the Ford fiesta zetec-s 1.6 engine is the best car and would love to have one soon as i saved lots of money up. The space in the fiesta could be limited for some people but for me there is plenty of room being on my own. with a fiesta you have to get power streering because its so much easyer than not having it. makes life so much...

Advantages: Cheap thrills, practical, easy to afford, you won't destroy the environment
Disadvantages: not too fast and involving as some of its competitors. Thats it

...that the ST has a slightly gruffer idle than the standard car. *Engine* Under the bonnet is a reworked version of Ford's two-litre Duratec engine. Power has been raised to 148bhp and torque t 14olbft. As well as the increase in power, the ST has been given a new exhaust system, faster throttle response and the five-speed manual gearbox has been extensively modified. The ST is the quickest going Fiesta yet, hitting 60mph in 7.9 seconds. This is slow compared to the similarly priced Renualtsport Clio 182 Cup which does it in 6.9 seconds. While there is a decent spread of torque throughout the ST's rev, it saves the best performance to last and urges you to keep the tip of the needle on the right hand side of the tachometer's face. ...I bought a 04 plate Ford Fiesta Zetec 1.4 3dr about 2 years ago. I am a fan of Ford cars, had a little KA before. Hence, this purchase. Best things (from a girls point of view!) - Is that it has really good heating and A/C, heats up all nice and toasty but also lovely in the summer with the A/C on a long drive. At the moment with this cold weather, I hate it if it takes me ages to de-frost my car but this is great, does the front and back as normal but also has little heaters in the door which start de-frosting the windows!! But the best thing of all in the stereo, I have just the standard ford CD player. Nothing special from the front but has this brilliant thing of knowing how noisy your car is so if you are on the motorway it increases the volume and then if you stop and some light it will decrease. ford fiesta 1.25 - a learner's view

Advantages: Clutch - great to learn with. Plenty of room in the car. Display is very nice looking
Disadvantages: Reverse gear doesn't always select, pops out while in use. Gear stick wear and tear. Visibility.

...A surprise 17th birthday present from my parents sat on the driveway - the new Fiesta Zetec from Ford. Sooo happy, then it hit me I was responsible and now had to drive it and keep it in one piece! For the first few weeks I would just sit and listen to music, the sound is great and plenty of options, iPod can easily be connected, radio tuning by voice is very handy while driving. The display and dials all look very futuristic and are nice on the eye, but are also simple to use, either stationary or while driving, hardly and distraction at all. The car itself is lovely inside, plenty of room to stretch out and get comfortable, plus fit my sister in the back without squishing her! To drive it's the most pleasant out of my experience with 2 instructor cars. One a Fiat, I hated, the clutch and accelerator were way to sensitive...

...I passed my test last June and that's when I purchased my car - a silver ford fiesta flight 1.3. After wanting the newer ford models and planning to save up and buy a different car for about 6 weeks i suddenly changed my mind after realising I actually loved the car I had and would be ever so sad to see it go. Its a brilliant first time car, the seats are comfortable, the clutch isnt heavy, the steering is light, it looks gorgeous inside when it is lit up at night. These cars are not too expensive neither, and dare I say quite reliable, my car hasnt broken down on me yet! (*touches wooden table*) Parts are relatively cheap as well as cost of transport. It will cost about 30 -35 quid (depending on the petrol prices) to fill up my car and it will last for about 2 weeks and thats with around an hours worth of driving everyday. I...

Ford Fiesta Zetec 1.25 5door, my experience!!

Advantages: The road tax is low!
Disadvantages: The price of the vehicle!

...I brought my Fiesta 7months ago it is lovely; the car handling is good quality. The steering is light and easy to use all the controls. My fiesta is a 55 plate so the dash board is all electronic (apart from the speed monitor), I like this because it?s easy to read and modern. I think that the price is unfair considering the brand and the size of the car the price is high as I paid £6,000 and I have this vehicle on 4 years on finance. In my opinion if these companies want to make more money they should sell these vehicles at a lower price. I also noticed that the ford style has next to nothing on the vehicle, if you want alloy wheel ect you would have to upgrade to the next model up that is the Zetec and then its £2,000 + more (this is why I went for the Zetec). Ford fiesta a great economic car

Advantages: Cheap to run, good spec, handleing, good motorway drive
Disadvantages: not many(if any)

...I like my Fords I have had 3 a focus and two fiestas and never had a problem (best touch some wood now) at all this is the third fiesta I purchased. I bought the fiesta to replace a fiesta, which was the last of the old generation; I purchased the car for my wife who travels a long distance daily at least 60 miles a day. The car she had before was a .25 zetec, which were good but not that good on fuel it being a small engine pounding the motorway was quite thirsty so I opted or should I say I advised we get a diesel. I have a diesel focus zetec and it is great on fuel, having had the car for two weeks we have had to only put half as much fuel in as before on the older car. In a two week stint it used to have fuel put in at least twice, a tank a week this new 1.4 diesel fiesta only requires a fuel up once in two weeks. Bare in mind...

Ford Fiesta Ghia 1.4 TDCi 5dr Background I have owned my 2004 Ford Fiesta 1.4 TDCi since it was 6 months old and have traveled at the time of writing (OCT 2007) 25000 miles though the car has done 30000 in total.The car lacks in one area, which is acceleration, however, this does not detract from a 5-star rating because if you're purchasing a diesel at this price point you should be doing it for the excellent economy - not for super fast performance... The Drive The car is great fun to drive, and surprisingly nippy round town, the handling feels safe and secure and corners neatly. It is not a performance hatchback so don't expect to be 'burning-off' your average family saloon on a head to head, however the car has a respectable top speed (102mph) and cruises quite nicely on motorways at 70. Ford Fiesta Fun 1.29 - 2001 (UP-DATED)

Advantages: Cost efficient to run and very reliable
Disadvantages: Can take a while to build up speed, especially when carrying weight

...** UP-DATED REVIEW ** My first car, which I still cherish, but I am now starting to think about bigger and better things .. only think mind you, this will keep me going for a good number of years yet, if I am not in a position to upgrade. The car is now 5 years old, and I am in my fourth year of ownership, having bought it for £3,900, from an original retail price of circa £6,500 a year earlier - amazing how quickly cars depreciate in value ... I would never buy brand new for that simple reason. 2 year warranty also remained on the car, but I think I am right in thinking most decent manufacturers provide a 3 year warranty these days. If you want a reliable, solid, nippy, and efficient car then you can't really go wrong with a Ford Fiesta, in whatever model you are considering. Obviously price will vary by a few grand...

Ford Fiesta ST

Advantages: Performane, Styling, Gearchange
Disadvantages: lack off footrest, poor speakers

.... Gear change is quick smooth and fast, which is short shift. Handling on the car is superb you can quite happily throw this car round corners at most speeds without any trouble at all. The brakes are excellent too with the fronts being bespoke and the rears of the old focus ST170. Exterior of the car sets it self apart from lesser fiesta models by having modified front and rear bumpers, side skirts and 17inch alloys. All side strips are colour coded aswell, (which is now standard on Zetecs anyway). The only thing that annoys me is the front of the car which if you sit it next to a Zetec S is that they are identical. I know this because my brother has one in black which we bought at the same time I was a little annoyed because his is £2500 less. Easy solution, buy an ST badge identical to the rear one and attach to the grill...
