I have owned an escort popular, an XR3, a cabriolet, and a Sierra 2.0 Ghia. When the children came along it was to expand our car capacity so we bought our first Galaxy. I owned my 1997 Galaxy since almost new and even though it had only reached 50,000 on the clock, we thought it was time to trade up and change to a diesel engine. ...Our first experience of a Ford Galaxy was several years ago when we hired one for a family holiday. We could not believe how comfortable and spacious they were, even with 6 people in the vehicle. We decided to purchase one of our own a few years ago. We got one used from a dealer where it had only been used as a fleet car and had only done motorway mileage. These vehicles are so spacious and the beauty is that you can remove all the seats. It comes in really useful if you have to transport something on the large side. The two front seats are known as captains chairs, and have armrests. You can also swivel them around to face the passengers behind you, so if you are on holiday and the weather is not so good, you can picnic inside the car. Can You Feel The Ford?

...I liked our last Ford Galaxy. It had a lovely 2.8 litre V6 petrol engine which was smooth, powerful and sounded great, although the average fuel consumption of about 24mpg wasn?t a plus point. Unfortunately, once it had covered 80,000 miles it seemed to embark on a programme of self-destruction. It never ground to a complete halt but developed several faults in fairly quick succession, culminating in the death of the air conditioning part of the climate control system. Ford Galaxy 2.0 petrol

Advantages: 7 Seats, lots of dealers
Disadvantages: Fuel consumption, electric, build quality

...After Messing about with several cheap MPV.s (serena, picnic) we decided to purchase a newer full size MPV from a main dealer. After looking around it was apparent that the Ford Galaxy was the most affordable despite being identical to the Seat Alhambra, Citroen Synergie etc. We got a 2 litre petrol white seven seater at 5 years old for £4000 with full warranty - i remember being pleased at the time. We got the beast home and noticed that there were several niggly electrical faults - in fairness this is down to build quality as well - the electric window switches on the drivers door are recessed into a flimsy plastic panel that breaks very easily. Switches throughout are similarily quite lightweight - especially considering this wagon is designed to house 6 yelling youngsters. The speaker covers which are low down on the doors...

...Well this is the Third Ford galaxy I have had spanning back to the first model that was introduced to the market place, The basic phenomenon hasnt changed of providing a MPV that drives like and looks like a car not a van as so many do. ( I should know i spend all day in a van). The kids can have there own seat and this leads to very little fighting and squabbling, the boot space is functional but if you have a car full and need plenty of space this can be a bit challenging unless you have a roof box. The engine on the 1.9 that we have is the 115ps version, with the six speed gearbox it will cruise all day quietly comfortably giving you 55mpg. There is bundles of torque and anyone who says it is lacking power needs to be driving a F1 car. The two previous Galaxys we had we bought from main dealers in the Uk but whilst looking...

...When i had my beloved Nintendo Wii "i had so much fun" using it and one of my favourite games indeed was this one. I had played Mario games on other systems such as the Nintendo 64 and the Dream Cast but Mario Sunshine left me frustrated and ready to throw the darn Dream Cast out the window because i got so far in it then i just couldn't get past one particular level "no matter how hard" that i tried and Super Mario 64 was brilliant but i never got round to finishing it.
