Review of Ford Focus C-MAX 1.6 TDCI

Ford Focus 1.8 Zetec C-MAX.

Advantages: Roomy, upmarket quality & quiet.
Disadvantages: Hand brake position needs getting used to.

...,000 and engine seems very lively. Have just had the screen washer pump pack up, but this will be replaced under warranty! Security, full remote central locking with deadlocks. It has an interior alarm & you can specify perimeter alarm( extra). Engine immobiliser. Shielded door locks. Price wise, there have been some discounting on some of the models in the range and the LX and Zetec models are the ones to buy. Some problems have been encountered with the electronic parking brake fitted on the Ghia models but Fords are on top of this. Still the best engines to go for are the Diesels, the 2.0 Litre is a little flyer! Will keep you posted as to how the C Max fares in the future. Have now bought the focus hatchback as replacement (01/09/2007), but used the C max to go to Harwich in before getting it, carried 4 adults and luggage for a cruise and had...

Yes I know that it is perfectly legal for us chaps to consume diet Pepsi or diet Cola but I always found it a little embarrassing asking for the aforementioned beverages. The Focus C-Max 1.8 LX

Advantages: good reliable small family vehicle

...I bought the c-max in late 2006 as i was in need of a more reliable car than the dreaded Vauxhall Vectra i was forced to drive round in. I had to keep to the larger size vehicles as i have a wife and two little cherubs to cart around so i needed something as spacious as the Vectra. The Focus c-max was suggested to me by a friend as he was, and still is, an avid Ford fan, at present driving a Focus 1.6 zetec. I had taken a few cars out on test drives, such as the galaxy and the Mondeo, I even test drove a Zifira, even though it had the hated Vauxhall logo on the front. Pucker up with Max Factor!

Advantages: Stays on and refuses to budge
Disadvantages: CAn cake on the lipts if your not careful

...it's time to move on from lipstick covered teeth yet! All in all this is a must have for the party season and has many more positive points than negatives, I for one won't be using anything else and I'll just remember that after a few hours I need to use the top coat and I'm away! I can't live without this product and even my Mother owns one or two of them now. If you don't believe my claims nip into a chemist and try a tester if your not brave enough to put it on your lips draw a line on your hand and leave to dry a minute then try removing it?! Case closed lol PS! Boots have an offer on, spend £12 on Max Factor get free goodie box and in TK ax you can get 4 lipfinity lipsticks for £10 in a case (regular size) and in TJ Hughes they have limited colours but are £2! It really pays to look on markets and in bargain buckets you...

...I am now the proud owner of a ford focus 1.6 zetec and for the first time in many years I have actually found a car that pretty muc suits all my needs. I have spent many a time in cars that are too big, too small, not suitable, not comfortable etc but this is everything I could ask for. I own the three door version but the doors open widely and when the front seat is moved forward there is plenty of room to get anyone in the back, even my mother in law who is disabled. The back of this car is extremely spacious, comfortably fitting 3 large adults in. The boot size is deceiving in that it looks pretty small but is very spacious indeed. Perfect for all those shopping bags as well as a childs pushchair. The actual drive of this car is superb. Mine runs on unleaded and is very economical. I can get over 200 miles to £35...

I was greeted by David Beckhurst, who was extremely polite and asked if I required any help, I told him that I was just looking. He said that if I needed anything, he would be happy to help me.
