The Longest F1 Circuit.

Advantages: Great Overtaking.
Disadvantages: Unpredictable Weather.

...The Spa-Francorchamps track in Belgium is the longest circuit used during the Formula One World Championship series. At 4.3 miles a lap, this circuit takes an F1 car nearly two minutes to complete, which is a long time in F1 terms. Because of the length of the circuit a complete race is only 44 laps. This track is a great favourite of the drivers because of the fast, challenging corners, particularly the Eau Rouge corner, but there are some concerns over the high speeds and the overall safety of the track. This was emphasised with the very fast, terrifying crash of Luciano Burti in the 2001 race. However, the vast majority of the drivers would not want to see any major changes made to the layout of the circuit as they relish the challenge. ...The Imola,San Marino circuit like Monza has an illustrious and ancient history but unlike Monza has only a relatively short history of Formula I racing. The very first Formula I race took place at Imola in 1963 with an untitled race won by the legendary Scottish driver, the great Jim Clark, in a Lotus 25. Disadvantages: Not many

Spa, the queen of f1 circuits

Advantages: variation, fast corners
Disadvantages: too long, dangerous

...Every year the drivers are looking forward to the Belgian Grand Prix. This circuit has everything. There are slow corners like 'Source', but especially you have very fast corners and that's what is exciting. The raidillon (also called eau rouge) is the fastest and most exciting corner on any circuit. After this you have a very technical part, where often the real difference is made. Then you have a very fast part again in the section, called Blanchimont. After the bus-stop chicane you're back at the start grid. Spa is also a circuit where the driver is more important than the car. In Spa the best drivers are always up front. It is not a coincidence that Michael Schumacher and Ayrton Senna won on this circuit so many times. What makes Spa also special is the micro-climate. The Fast and the Furious Formula One Style

Advantages: The atmosphere, sound, sight and smell of Formula One racing
Disadvantages: In this particular race - the qualifying was the only disappointment

Day One Arising early and almost hangover free myself and four travelling friends made the twenty minute walk to Albert Park from our hostel on nearby Punt Road. My excitement of finally getting to a Grand Prix circuit, having supported the sport for as long as I can remember, was not really tempered by the grey gloomy skies or the fact that there would be no Formula One cars on display on day one. I was almost like a kid at Christmas and this enthusiasm only grew as I heard the impressive throaty roar of a V8 engine fire up in the distance. A real drivers circuit

Advantages: Good race track
Disadvantages: somtimes the race can be boring

...Definately one of the greatest tracks ever, well the old Nurburgring was, but todays new one is one hell of a track. Here's what happened in last years great race. Coulthard was the one to watch after bad luck in Barcelona following his plane crash. He had to take it easy though because of his injuries to his ribs and still managed to he beat Schmacher for first position in the qualifying. Hakkinen was third and Barrichello got fourth. Usually before the F1 race there is the formula 3000 and it demonstrated what the F1 race might be like. The formula 3000 cars had to put up with the rain which was forcast for the F1 race as well. Almost every car went of the track at least once. For the F1 race the rain had stopped but the track was damp. There were several collisions after the start. Jarno Trulli had a big crash...
