Mollet De Valles - Barcelona -Formule 1
Advantages: Cheap, on the main stretch to Barcelona centre, relaxing and functional.
Disadvantages: get booked up very quickly in summer, no lift to floors.
...As this is the first review for this Formule 1, I'm going to make it a good one.
We have stayed there many time's and always got a good nights sleep.
These hotels offer exactly what people need, clean rooms, warm, comfy beds with TV, Basin and mirror in each room. There are half a dozen toilets and about 3 showers per floor (so not for those who don't want to skip down a corridor to the loo) and they even supply the washing soap and towels. In each shower there's a massive dryer to do the whole body!!! The corridors and rooms are all carpeted so your feet don't get cold on the way to the shower. The toilets and showers are all on an automatic cleaning cycle and several times a day the doors are automatically locked (when there's no one inside) and the rooms are blasted with water!!!
My father suffers from a breathing problem so...

Formule 1 Liverpool City Center
Advantages: Cheap, good location.
Disadvantages: shareing toilet and shower,
...My first time to this hotel, in Liverpool town center didnt really leave me with any positves about this place, for the price they charge though, i wasnt expecting much more then just a room. I was quite surprised to find a Television with a remote control, a sink for a quick wash, free towels, and a bunk bed, being a double on the bottom and single on the top.
The decor is very basic, the one and only window only opened half way, so wasnt able to get much fresh air into the room.
As for the toilets and shower, they are shared with other people on the same floor as you, they are both in seperate areas, was an awfull smell coming from the toilets, so had to hold my nose while in there. As for the shower, it was quite roomy, with space to put your towel, a mirror, and hot running water. No slip mat on the floor, the whole shower was...

Formule 1 equals formula for disaster
Advantages: Cheap, central location
Disadvantages: dirty, rather uninviting, noisy location
...There's not really that much you can say about this hotel.
Generally very basic, and I mean BASIC and a little to close to the road for some people, but take a set of earplugs and you'll sleep fine!
Used by a lot of city break tour companies for a one night stay. ALSO used by a lot of "couples" (if you know what I mean) who arrive at 11.00 and are out the door by 3pm!
I found the rooms to be extremely dirty with need of a good clean, but obviously the usual customers don't moan as they don't actually stay overnight! Staff often enter rooms and leave them open for the world to see, so take any valuables with you.
Good if you just want to put your head down for the night, but avoid if you want to use it as a base to visit London.
I paid £30 for my room, but be warned, there's no closet, so you will have to live out of your...

Great little find in Paris- Hotel France Albion
Advantages: Fantastic location and large sized room!
Disadvantages: Breakfast disappointing
...Fresh off the plane from paris i thought I'd share my thoughts on this hotel in Paris where my best friend and I spent a long weekend.
We chose the hotel for its location- close to shopping district and centre of Paris and we werent disappointed there. We were feeling confident about the hotel as we had had good communication with them before we left- we had changed dates and asked to leave our luggage in the hotel as we were arriving early.
We were not disappointed when we arrived- the outside of the hotel was a freshly painted blue. of all the buildings in the street it was by far the best cared for giving a very good impression. inside, the staff could not have been more friendly and willing to help. we spoke in French to them but I did hear them speaking English with other guests. the desk is manned 24/7 which was a relief...

Formule 1 Paris Porte de Montreuil, Bagnolet
Advantages: Cheap
Disadvantages: No bathroom
...This is another hotel from Accor, the company behind Ibis and Etap. But if you thought the latter were low budget hotels, wait until you have heard about this one!
If you are travelling to another location by car or by plane and need somewhere to rest, this is ideal. As the crow flies, the nearest airport is le Bourqet, which is about 10km away but Orly is only a short drive more.
Sitaued just off the Boulevard Péphérique, this hotel is good for overnight stays, but nothing else. The area in which the hotel is situated isnt anything special; grafitti sees to be a common feature in the roads surrounding the hotel. However, the hotel iself is fairly pleasant, with the rooms being rather modern and usually pretty clean. This complex has 228 rooms, but only 14 of these are non smoking; so if this is a priority for you, i suggest you...

Sorry. WORST. HOTEL. EVER.
Advantages: Great value for money!
Disadvantages: EVERYTHING
...Hmm... now, where can I start? In 2004 I went to stay to this very hotel. It was VERY cheap. Just £8 for three of us! But that was the only good this about it. First of all, when I went to stay in my room there was a single bed and a bunk-bed. The room stank of cigarettes, I got used to it once I got in, though. All my clothes stunk. And, the room itself was very dirty. I don't think the staff do their job well. The beds were very lumpy, when I woke up I had a back pain and I had to go to my doctor a few days later after staying.
Then, now this is the worst part - the toilets. The toilets were like I never seen before - it was... well, moulded into the wall. The actual toilet and sink was very small. It was okay for a bloke to do a wee, but it was so small I don't think that you could sit on it. The lights in the toilet were automatic...

Great Value for Money Hotels
Advantages: Fantastic value for money
Disadvantages: You need to find a restaurant as no food is served in the hotel, except for breakfast
...Hotels Formule 1 are part of the Accor Hotels Group and can be found all over the world, but they are especially well established in France where 261 hotels are scattered across the country.
I have been using hotels Formule 1 for many years now and I have never been disappointed. In fact, I still cannot understand how they manage to keep in business considering the prices they charge, but I am not complaining. Each hotel is exactly the same and each bedroom is also exactly the same. So no nasty surprises, you know exactly what you are paying for. All bedrooms are modern, clean, very comfortable and accommodate up to 3 people. You have a double bed, a bunk bed, a sink with mirror, television and radio with remote control, an alarm clock and spaces to hang clothes. Showers and WC are found just a few steps away from each room...

A great choice for travellers through France
Advantages: Close to main amenities, towns, and motorways. Sometimes in the heart of particular towns
Disadvantages: Sometimes are fully booked up.
...Kyriad hotels is a chain of hotels situated all over France, so if you are looking for a quite a cheap getaway I would highly recommend them. The standard of the hotel is excellent as I am about to state below.
All the hotels are based on major roads & tend to be based either on the edge of a city or just outside. This is a budget hotel chain with no frills. You will find this chain of hotels near formula one hotel and near the Holiday or Travel Inn hotels (British owned by either Whitbread or Bass).
Although I have already said this is a cheap budget hotel, the cost per night for a double room, you are looking at between £20 to £30 for the night. I have stayed in this hotel chain about 3 times now and the layout in each and the standards are about the same.
Cheap does not mean a lesser product! This is explained even further...
