...In the past few years there has been so many of these "shopping centres" popping up all over the uk, having all the major high street shops all located in one place and all under one roof. Normally these places are placed out of town area's and in industrial estates. The Fort shopping centre is located in Castle Bromwich, Birmingham in the West Midlands How to get there ---------------------- Get on the A38 Tyburn Road or A452 Chester Road which can be found on either junction 5 or 6 of the M6. Follow the signs to the "Fort Shopping Park" and Star City. You can't miss it. In the centre there is a massive tower that lights up in the evening. Facilities -------------- Unlike most town based shopping centres, the Fort shopping park has free car parking which draws people to it rather than pay to park in Birmingham...

Apache RLX 250 Quad Bike

Advantages: Good value for money, good looking bike and reliable
Disadvantages: Head light keeps falling out when you go off road.

...This quad is a 250cc 4 stroke 2 cyl with oil cooler gears 5 speed manual. Apache RLX 250 quad bike, this quad is not to bad at all for the money. To get a top manufacture make quad at the same spec as this the Apache RLX 250 you would have to pay double the money. It handles well on the road but it handles even better off the road. As a rider the quad bike is comfortable but you couldn't travel to far on it your legs begin to go dead after an hour or two. As a passenger it not to comfortable the quad is only made for one person really. If you do want a quad for two people you would need a bigger quad. The quad performs really good on and off the road, the quad has 5 gear 1down and 4 up. Its electric stat so no spending ages trying to kick or pull start it. This quad is really reliable and we have never had any big problems with it, well...

A ruin near Fort William

...We stayed on the west coast of Scotland for our holidays and had to go into the nearest big town Fort William. After spending the morning there we headed out along the A 82 to wards Inverness After only about a mile there is a small sign and a turn to Inverlochy castle. The Fort Shopping Centre

Advantages: Good shops good variety good quality,
Disadvantages: Not many cheap shops

...There are a number of great shops at the Fort Shopping Park and that's why I decided to write this review. {EDIT: This one is in Birmingham Erdington not far from spaghetti junction} First of all lets look at the locality. The Fort is a relatively easy place to get to if your in the car but the public transport routes are poor. There used to be a bus service (the number 11) which dropped you right outside the fort but then this got re-routed. There are no train stations near by so unless you live on the 68 bus route then it will have to be a car to get you there im affraid. The plus side is that there is free parking on two levels and even at christmas and peak times you can find somewhere to park. Advantages: Fun filled day for all the family, both enjoyable and educational

...At present I'm living in Southampton as I have done most of my life so it's no surprise when I say Fort Victoria Country Park is one of my favourite spots on the Isle of Wight. Infact I make it a regular port of call whenever I'm over there. It doesn't take too long via Wight link ferry and is one of the most interesting, historic, relaxing and educational sites I have ever come across. Fort Victoria was built in the 1850's just west of Yarmouth on the Isle of Wight with the purpose of protecting the Solent against any unwanted incoming invasions. The fort was previously a single tier battery with defensible barracks which was later used as a submarine mining centre and for military training purposes.
