...Damages is a true story. It is like a biography of a foster carers life in some ways. I bought this book for £4.99 from Woolworths because i like reading true stories. From the moment I first opened the book i could barely put it down. The book tells the dtory of a woman called Kathy Glass who has been a foster carer for 20 years. Kathy has 2 children of her own and a foster child living with her. Kathy is called into a meeting and asked if she would consider fostering another girl called Jodie who is 8 years old. Jodie has been in 4 different foster homes in the space of 3 months. None of her foster carers want her to stay with them because she is violent and apparently scares them. ...The TV advert makes you believe that drinking Fosters Lager will give you the will to see the advantages in any situation. WRONG! Drinking Fosters makes you feel good; drinking more Fosters makes you fall over and drinking even more Fosters makes you feel bad. But, that is no different to any other lager, so what is different with Fosters? Fosters is a clear, smooth lager that always seems to be consistent in its taste. When I was younger I know that I would have preferred a stronger drink, as the objective during my student days would always be to arrive at the state of drunkenness as quickly as possible. Now that I am a bit older I don’t have so many drinking nights out (in fact fairly rarely) so it does not take too many drinks before the alcohol is taking effect. ...Zelig - US - 1983 - 72mins Starring: Woody Allen & Diane Keaton Zelig is an early(ish) Woody Allen film. I’m not a big fan of Allen’s recent stuff but I like his earlier comedies such as Sleeper and Take The Money & Run. Set mainly in the 1930s this is a fantasy documentary about Leonard Zelig a human chameleon. Zelig has a peculiar talent for blending in with the people around him and because of this becomes a celebrity. The film is put together with use of an authoritative voice over and a mixture of contemporary interviews, altered black and white stock footage and photomontages. It is pretty funny but only laugh out loud in a few points. However it’s clever amusing and brilliantly done, as you would expect from Allen. ...This movie is really funny + futuristic. I myself really enjoyed it so much. Tim Allen played an excellent role potraying the Captain. Credits also to other actors/ actresses that make this movie well balanced. The story started by a group of aliens looking for help to help them defeat the other group of aliens. They mistaken Tim Allen and his co. for the real spaceheroes. That's where the fun begins. For more funny scenes watch the movie. You also have the famous actress from Alien starring in this movie as one of Tim Allen's crew. I love the ending when they crashed into the conference centre and destroying the alien in front of the audience.... Read review

The first time I heard Josh Groban singing was when he sang on a duet with Charlotte Church’s Concert that broadcast live from Cardiff, Wales. The next day he appeared on the Ally Mc Beal TV show. Both times I did not write down his name wrong. A few weeks later he appeared on the Concert For America" and the Album that came from that. ..., as it was showing a lot of the armed forces section in Afghanistan, not the best start to a big hit movie. I am guessing there will be a sequel as it only showed him in one battle throughout the movie.
