This is a foundation that apparently adapts to your own skin tone. I've seen this advertised on television but had not got around to trying it out. I've recently tried the Age Renew which I found to be very silky on the skin - a little too silky for me. This also made me look shiny in photos. This is what made me choose the Colour Adapt. ...I went for a Max Factor Foundation as I knew the brand as was intrigued by the 'colour adapt' part of the labelling. As I had previously found it hard to find a foundation that matched and complemented my skin tone (I'm fairly pale in skin colour), this appealled to me as I'm always keen to avoid that over made up look. Advantages: Evens skin tone, looks quite natural, a little goes a long way
Disadvantages: Caused me to break out, encouraged oilyness, didn't stay on amazingly long

...Ah, the delights of teenage skin. Never know what it's going to do next. One day it's dry, flakey and tight feeling, the next you wish you had a spatula to scrape all the oil off. Not to mention oh so stubborn blemishes. I personally have all these things going on, combination skin basically, and I've always had trouble keeping spots at bay. Foundation and Earth: Solid Foundations, Weak Finish.

Disadvantages: If you've read the others, this will probably come as a let down.

...When I was a kid I always had a pile of my parents' books under the shelving in my room. Some of it wasn't exactly the sort of stuff you wanted to get caught reading as a kid ? The Joy of Sex, anyone? - but there were some good things in there. For instance, I discovered Frank Herbert's epic Dune in that pile. Strong Foundations

Advantages: This is the best foundation I have ever used, it stay's put and covers blemishes!
Disadvantages: Pricey and the pump doesn't get the last bits of the product out.

...What will it take to find a good foundation eh? well I think I may have found it! for me I was looking for a long lasting foundation that didn't look too greasy and most of all would cover any blemishes. I alway's try to look for a colour to match my skin-tone how difficult is that eh? So, L'Oreal Infallible Foundation. I usually buy either a cheapy foundation like Collection 2000 range if I'm skint or I have tried the Bodyshop range of Foundation but this doesn't seem to last that long. I had been recommended this product by a relative, and they said it stay's put! but is pricey. I have heard good things about the L'Oreal brand as being professional and good quality, but top end of the price range.
