MY LITTLE BEAUTY

...Until very recently I'd never tried a single Clarin's product and until even more recently I didn't believe that beauty products really could work miracles. So what has caused the cynic in me to disappear? My in laws gave me a birthday present that is a pretty little pink box containing a number of Clarin's trial size products. It was in this little box that my miracle beauty product lurked, untried and untested by myself until about two weeks ago, largely because I hadn't bothered to read the leaflet and wasn't quite sure what it was for. Beauty Flash Bum!

Advantages: None that I can think of
Disadvantages: Expensive and over-rated

...I was given a tube of this 'wonder cream' as a Christmas present from my in-laws just last Christmas. It sat inside my dressing table drawer until about three weeks ago, still in its original box/packaging etc, unused. Rimmel Recover Foundation

Advantages: Nice consistency, gives even coverage
Disadvantages: A little sticky when worn alone, doesn't last 12 hours

...A friend of mine had been ranting on about how she wanted to try this product. I had seen it on a daytime TV programme as a 'wonder-cure' to make you look like you've had 8 hours sleep. On a shopping trip, there was an offer where you buy 2 Clarin's products and get some other trial-sized goods for free (many many department stores so this). So we bought one each and split the freebies. I had hoped that it would be wonderful and transform my face? however it did not go that far. It did give me a healthy glow when I wore it under my make-up and my make-up did last longer. So it lives up to that claim. Beauty FlashBalm -AMAZING!

Advantages: Does what it says on the box, easy to use, bottle lasts long
Disadvantages: addictive!expensive!

.... Remove excess with water. Follow with Toning Lotion appropriate to your skin type. The bottle contains 50 ml. This is certainly enough to last around 3 months or so if ued daily and sparingly. At first I found it difficult to apply but only because I had the inclination to massage instead of spread. Personally, I have used it before make up every day and I have found it makes foundation look far more natural as usually it can look a bit cakey and powdery on one's face. TOP TIPS -Apply foundation seconds after putting this on not letting it settle on your face first as the fopundation will seep into the balm and look better. -If you cannot after Beauty Flash Balm, something jsut as effective is to apply Nivea sun lotion on the face before akeup.It does exactly the same job and you can use your holiday's leftovers! -Don't overdo it...
