Coleman Savannah - Ideal family tent.

...The Coleman Savannah is a 6 person frame tent. It has an iside height of200cm high which is ample height for the average family! The tent is a kind of octagonal shape with the bedroom area taking 1 half & living area the other. We found the tent very easy to erect with colour coded steel poles which feed through from the outside of the tent, then legs attatched to lift the flysheet & place the tent in positon ready to be pegged down. There is then a groundsheet for the living area. The inner bedroom tents have an integral groundsheet & the whole thing is hung inside with colour coded hooks. What we particularly like as well is that there is a separate 'storage' area like a zipped up compartment where the cool box & bags ect can be stored. Frame of the Future

Advantages: Great photo quality, effecient, can hold 500 pictures

Robust, spacious 6 berth tent

Advantages: very spacious, steel frame
Disadvantages: large pack, heavy

...than the width (so the tunnel arc is from front to back rather than side to side if that make sense). This means you have wide bedrooms and a very wide living area. Has sewn in groundsheet, but the "lip" at the doorway can be hooked up or down, so you don't get the trip hazard you have with other tents with bucket groundsheets. There are 3 doors so it is well ventilated. Downsides - large pack - need a big boot or trailer. Heavy (though the pack has wheels). We;re very pleased with it and feel it was good value for money, especially for a steel-framed tent....

My Tent with Rooms

Advantages: Breathable fabric keeps cool in the heat and warm when it is cooler
Disadvantages: It is quite weighty and quite expensive

Review of Outwell Bear Lake Tunnel Tent

The ups and downs of a family tent.

Advantages: Lots of space for everyone.
Disadvantages: No longer made.

...The Khyam Michigan 12 was only made in 2007 so can be hard to come by now. But if you are after a large, well set out tent, and you find one of these then grab it whilst you can. The tent is an outer pitch first, or all in one. Personally we leave the inners in place which reduces the pitching time. The tent itself is large and can be difficult and heavy to put up. Saying that I am under 5ft and have limited mobility so if me and hubby can put it up between us then I'm sure others could easily. We have reduced the pitching time to around 30 - 45 minutes now, which is not bad considering. One good thing though, is that although the tent is large it still fits on most pitches so no extra charges. The tent has 3 inners. All or some can be removed if wanted. The largest is 6 berth. This is used by our 4 children and is just big enough...

Who's been framed?

Advantages: Some of the clips are funny.
Disadvantages: Most of the clips are repeats and very out of date.

...You've Been Framed is a 'comedy' show where members of the public send in their home videos which will contain funny moments such as mishaps or tricks being pulled on people. The show has been running for almost 20 years now and this shows in some of the clips that they show which are from the 80's and 90's and therefore everything in them seems very out of date (clothes, hair, toys etc). There have been a number of hosts over the years, the most memorable being Jeremy Beadle (RIP) and Lisa Riley. It is currently shown on Saturdays, late afternoon, on ITV1 and to be honest most of the clips look like ones I have seen before and the show is really not very enjoyable. A 4 man tent with no men! (HONEST)!!

Advantages: Just a cool looking, well designed and functional tent.

...With T in the park weekend over and a great time had by all, I thought I would review the tent that was my home for the weekend. The tent in question was a Confidence Mars 4 Man Waterproof Dome Tent and although it is a 4 ?MAN? tent there were only me and my two girlfriends staying in this one (well that?s my story and I am sticking to it)! Now I am no camper so I cannot really give too much comparison between this tent and any other except to say it was worlds apart from the old tents I used to camp in as a kid. This tent has one separate bedroom compartment with zippers which would have been useful if any of us had picked up some guy and needed a bit of privacy (BUT WE DIDNT)!!
