SONY - THE NAME FOR FRAME ACCLAIM

Advantages: Crisp images, easy to use, looks lovely, large screen
Disadvantages: No USB Cable supplied - so no way of getting photographs onto the frame without buying one

...My Mum, bless her, can?t get her head around viewing photographs on a computer monitor, she is of the generation that like their pictures in albums or in a frame, to be enjoyed at her leisure, preferably in a comfy chair, and without the need for constant mouse clicking. Between the family members with digital cameras we have a fair number of digital photographs, numbering into the thousands in fact, but not having a limitless supply of ink and photo paper printing them off would be immensely costly, as well as time consuming. Who's been framed?

Advantages: Some of the clips are funny.
Disadvantages: Most of the clips are repeats and very out of date.

...You've Been Framed is a 'comedy' show where members of the public send in their home videos which will contain funny moments such as mishaps or tricks being pulled on people. The show has been running for almost 20 years now and this shows in some of the clips that they show which are from the 80's and 90's and therefore everything in them seems very out of date (clothes, hair, toys etc). There have been a number of hosts over the years, the most memorable being Jeremy Beadle (RIP) and Lisa Riley. It is currently shown on Saturdays, late afternoon, on ITV1 and to be honest most of the clips look like ones I have seen before and the show is really not very enjoyable. Freeze Frame Shame!!!

Advantages: Gritty, Psychological Thriller Well acted by Lee Evans

...This is a film that i picked up one day in Blockbuster videos knowing nothing about it. As a Lee Evans fan i thoguht i would give it a go. This film was very different to what i expected as there is very little direct humour in the film. Although the character that Lee Evans plays is laughable due to the fact you could imagine someone actually doing this in a constant state of Paranoia. The film follows Lee Evans character, Sean Veil as he tries to ensure that every single move he makes, and i mean EVERY single move is captured on video so that he has a complete record of exactly what he was doing and when. This is basically because he was tried as a murder suspect many years before and has become very Paranoid and feels he always needs an Alibi as he will be framed again. ...Youve been framed is a show where members of the general public like you and me send in there funny home videos to the free post adress, if they are used in the show you will recieve a cheque for £250, the clips can be about anything aslong as they are funny. The clips shown on each half hour show are usually grouped together into categories, you will have all the mad things that pets have done in one place, then the children making you laugh, followed by all of the other funny things like people falling over. The advert break in the middle has a what happened next clip where they show you the first half of the clip and you have to guess what is going to happen. A Sony Digital Photo Frame Review

Advantages: Good if you have a lot of pictures on your computer.
Disadvantages: There is always something moving in the corner of your eye.

...I bought this digital photo frame for my eldest daughter as the sales assisstant in the shop said it is ideal for people with a lot of pictures and as she is leaving school soon she will have a lot of photos lying on the computer. This gift is ideal for people is their computer it full up with holiday pictures etc. It is a regular photo frame size, which is ideal. The picture quality is fantastic, however this depends on the quality of the camera you took the photo on in the first place. It is good that you can change the picture often by uploading new photos onto it (instructions make this very easy). You can choose which pictures you wish to view and how the transition of the photos occurs. The only down side is that if the photo is small then it doesn't stretch to the edges of the frame....

However, without wishing to state the obvious, the BT eFrame 1000 8? is an 8 inch digital frame on which you can view photographs.
