The Mighty Mars Bar

Advantages: Classic chocolate bar
Disadvantages: They changed the nougat filling

...exciting chocolate bars have been released onto the market. The Mars packaging as remained faithful to its classic black wrapper and the red 'Mars' font with gold outline. However, the font used to be italic 'Times new Roman' with an underline but this changed to a more 'comic sans' child like writing and the removal of the underline when the nougat centre became lighter like that of a Milky Way chocolate centre. Curse you Mars! According to the wrapper, this bar is free from Artifical colours, flavourings and perservatives. Hmm; at 259kcal and 10.1g of fat per bar this diesn't really make it any healthier for us. Subject to recent criticism, the Mars Bar is now suitable for vegetarians. ...I bought a pack of these as it was 100% extra - 16 bars for the price of 8 and the fact that I thought they would be a treat for my daughter in her lunch box. ...of Mars Bars somewhere in my kitchen cupboards, just for when I need a boost. The only real negative I have with it. Is it can be sticky and horrid when you take it out it's wrapper especially in warm/hot weather. And there is nothing worse than having sticky fingers. My advise it keep it in the wrapper. In summer I like to keep them in the fridge, for me nothing beats a cold Mars Bar and an equally cold refreshing beer. A 58 Gram standard Mars bar has 259 Calories.
