...I have been enrolled for about 2 years with this and other frequent flyer clubs and this is by far the best. Although I am only at the standard blue membrership level as i am not really a "frequent flyer" having flown within europe only a handful of times I have already been able to get a free flight award which would have otherwise cost me about 400 euros. My other frequent flyer memberships look like i may have to be a member for decades before qualifying for any type of reward. Also there are many partners which can issue miles such as car hire, hotels and shops. I would always try, if timetables permit to fly with KLM as they have a good coverage of UK airports and unlike britains other carriers the price does not double when you need to fly to a non-london airport. ...Northwest World perks was a really good FFP but this has ceased to be offered to European Passengers because this Mid western Airline decided it was more cost effective for the Frequent flyers to be handled by KLM. Everyone whom was a member of Worldperks was sent a letter 2 years ago stating that their accounts in the U.K would be closed down and the points transferred to KLM. P.S I would try and avoid flying with this airline as their aircraft are ancient DC9. I had a very bad experience returning to Gatwick from the the states and Gatwick was shut down because of Bomb threats. We were stuck on the aircraft for 9 hours longer on the Tarmac. This is definitely not an airline of choice that I would fly with.... Read review

...I have now been in the United F.Flyer club for three years and have been very impressed with it. I have also been in the British Airways & KLM F.Flyer programmes which aren't a patch on this one. A big advantage is that there are so many ways to collect points. Most of my points are not with flying but using partners in the Star Alliance, such as Marriott & Holiday-Inn hotels. Basically, join the Hotel chains own programme and then tell them to pass the points across to your United Mileage Plus programme. I also use a United Frequent Flyer proramme (Mileage Plus) Visa card which gives you a point for every £1 you spend. The interest rate is rubbish but I just use it for expenses and pay off the balance every month. I have so far been on holiday to the Caribbean (Vieques Island - Puerto Rico) and New York on free flights so... Read review

...I have gathered approximately 15,000 AA miles and I could not work out what to do with them. Typically I could have used them for travelling on British Midland for a free flight but it was just not going to be worth it. The only reccomendation to do with these is to pool them together with other frequent flyer programmes and use with other points on just one account. To do this transfer the points to the Hilton Honours programme along with any batches of 5,000 miles from continental, TWA or united amongst the few that can be trated in this way.... Read review

...Let me start by saying that I am not a particularly frequent flyer. I don't do many business miles, and have a couple of holidays a year. However, I booked a holiday a couple of years ago with United Vacations. The reservations agent advised that I should join Mileage Plus. Yeah whatever, but did it anyway. Went to the United Airlines website and had a better look at it. United Airlines is part of the Star Alliance, the worlds leading airline alliance. The Mileage Plus scheme is obviously centred around United Airlines, but you can "earn and burn" your miles on any of the Star Alliance carriers: bmi british midland, SAS, Lufthansa, VARIG, Air Canada, Austrian Airlines, Mexicana, ANA All Nippon, Singapore Airlines, Thai Airways, Asiana, and from this year, Spanair, LOT Polish Airlines and US Airways. ...I live in England, but I am engaged to an American, so I fly across the Atlantic (and back!) at least once a month. I don't even look at the fare comparison sites anymore - the only cheaper alternatives require some sort of stop en route (or rather not on the route...), and the extra four or five hours travelling is just not worth it for a saving of 50 pounds or so. Their prices are pretty much always the cheapest, particularly for direct flights. Travelling so often allows me to take advantage of their excellent frequent flyer scheme, which gives excellent mile bonuses, also also leads to fairly frequent upgrades, and I have to say that their BusinessFirst cabin is a splendid place to spend an eight hour journey! ...This frequent flyer programme was one that I liked it does reward you on the mileage taken but has the serious flaw of taking an enormous number of flights before you earn enough to go anywhere or to even move up their status levels. If you find that you are stuck to them for flights since they either own the only route or they are the cheapest operator, you may find that one of their best flight awards is for a flight to parris for 10,000 miles this is equivalent to haven paid for one return economy flight to Miami (including starting bonus). An alternative is to buy from Bose direct but i suggest that you go to the shop and try it out yourself to see how brilliant it is. Buying from bose means that you get a 30 day money back gaurantee. These headphones come with many adapters to connect to most devices even an plane socket. I have these and they are so great for frequent flyers or train users. the headphones are very adaptable to every day use and you may become adicted to use them every day as they are so so good. The only slight downside is that they are quite expensive. In The Box Comes: 1 pair of headphones, 4 jacks to connect to outputs, 2 batteries, i carrying case. ...This is a great hotel in an excellent location just of Wenselalas Square, the main ‘road’ in Prague. Everything is within walking distance, apart from the castle which is a short underground ride away. The hotel is decorated in an art-deco style and as you would expect is very luxurious. The bar is large and spacious with a good selection of drinks. The buffet breakfast is very good and filling and will keep you going for hours. If you are there for a weekend they do offer upgrades at very reasonable prices which are worth thinking about. If you are a member of the SAS frequent flyers scheme you can earn miles staying here. Not the cheapest hotel in Prague but probably one of the nicest.... Read review

...I am a member of this frequent flyer scheme but it is not a great club. Sure you earn miles if your stuck fling Delta, but why would you want to. Its not a great airline their customer service is awfull. My parents for instance took an around the world business class flight on three airlines Singapore, Swiss air and Delta When it came to the Delta segments in the United States they only downgrade them to Economy. Why because they only have first and economy in the states and they wouldnt upgrade them. Why O Why should anyone buy a business class flight to travel in Economy. Well thats one lesson we learned fly Economy and then transfer those points out to Hilton Honors whom really know how to respect people.... Read review
