Fresh Faced.

Advantages: Reasonably priced, vegan, good for problem skin, lasts well.
Disadvantages: The smell but only slightly, can be drying, storage.

Freshen your room with Fresh Air Globe

Advantages: Definitely does help to freshen the air drawing in impurities
Disadvantages: Main unit is £39.99 and replacement oils are £9.99 each

...I purchased the JML Fresh Air Globe and am glad I did! The globe comes with 2 fragrance oils - 1 eucalyptus and 1 lavender which offer both a stimulating or soothing experience. Within the unit there are coloured led lights which change randomly thus creating a relaxing atmosphere when using the appliance in a darkened room. It is amazing how much dirt the water collects (much better in the water than breathing it in). The only drawback with this appliance is that replacement oils are a bit pricey at £9.99. I have been using the JML Fresh Air Globe for about a year now and would definitely recommend it to anyone. Maintenance is exceptionally easy. When the water becomes cloudy simply empty the basin, rinse and refill. The filters are easy to clean too and unclick so you can get access....

Review of JML Fresh Air Globe

Fresh mash for feeding the family.

Advantages: Nice taste, cooks well, simple, frequently on offer.
Disadvantages: Not quite as nice as my own fresh mash.

...creamy and with a little butter added it tasted fantastic. It was lovely and smooth and I did not encounter any lumps at all (and I did not hear of anyone else finding any and the kids will generally complain about anything!). Everybody thoroughly enjoyed the mash, myself included and it was lovely not to have to peel, chop & cook potatoes and then mash them myself. It was not quite as nice as fresh homemade mash but then it's a convenience food and it certainly is convenient. 100g of mash has 87 calories & 3.5g of fat so it's not too bad. This 850g pot is available from Tesco for £1.94 and when we purchased it it was on offer for £1.00 now this is available 2 for £3.00 until 19/05/2009. If you are looking for something that is quick and easy then I would definitely recommend this as the 850g pot managed to feed two adults and three children...

...The first thing that appealed to me about this toothpaste was the cheap price (under £1) and the childhood memory of the advert with three people brushing their teeth, in red, white and blue pyjamas.... This is a stripy toothpaste, with red, white & blue stripes - all is said to do different things - freshen breath, fight cavities and promote healthy gums. The taste is fresh and minty and not too strong - so would be good for children. It froths nicely on brushing and leaves teeth, and the mouth, feeling fresh and clean. However, does not whiten like some toothpastes. The tubes are a good size and I have found them to last a decent amount of time - giving excellent value for money. However, as you get nearer to the end of the tube, the stripy effect is lost where you have been squeezing and you are left with a slightly off pink...

Cleean and Fresh!!!!

Advantages: Cleans my teeth and leaves my breath fresh.

...I love to have fresh breath and clean teeth so toothpaste is very important to me. I have always been a Colgate girl from the year dot, (well my dentist advised it when I was six years old), but when I became aware of the company's ethical policies, it was then that I choose Aquafresh toothpaste. I remember when Aquafresh was a toothpaste with only two stripes (blue and white) and the advert was set on a yacht (that was in the seventies), but now the advert has change dramatically as has the triple protection toothpaste. I love the advert of the perfect family in their pyjamas sing this corny song, whilst bruising their perfect white teeth. Believe it or nor, I am sad as I join in and sing along to the song too! Fresh Farmacy facial soap

Advantages: Great squeaky clean feeling
Disadvantages: None that I can think of!

...use the soap, simply wet your hands and then rub together with the soap, this creates a few bubbles, then use your hands to wash your face as normal. I would recommend using only a little of this product as despite the fact that only a few bubbles are made it is doing its job. In regards to storage, I use an empty fresh facial mask container so that they soap doesn't leave any residue on the side of the shower/bath. So far I have found this product does seem to calm my skin and has reduced by blemishes, although I still suffer on my chin so I am giving it more time to work on that area! I will give it a 5/5 because I think it is a great facial soap, with an exfoliant property, in my opinion anyway! It also gives, as many other reviewers have stated, that squeaky clean feeling! Just be sure ot follow up with a toner/toner tab...

...JML Fresh Air Globe I bought this when I was ill with a sinus type bug because I had the heating on all the time and the air seemed really dry. All of the other air purifiers were really expensive and this appeared to do much the same as they promised. Yes I should have known better but I was ill at the time? How it works The idea is that by swirling water around (or something more scientific but swirling is what it looks like), particles will be filtered out of the air and deposited in the water bowl leaving you with cleaner, fresher air. It claims to remove pet odours, harmful bacteria and neutralise other odours. The unit comes in three parts - the base with light & power switch, the water globe and the lid.
