Advantages: Very funny all round film!
Disadvantages: Swearing and lots of afro-american banter

...Any film that makes me want to sit and watch it again has to be good in my eyes. I am not a great comedy film watcher, but this is one of my all time great comedy films. Stars Ice Cube, who not only makes rap tunes but has starred in other good films too such as his recent film, Three Kings. Playing along side him is Chris Tucker, a brilliant actor when it comes to comedy's, and he has also appeared in the Fifth Element. Advantages: If you don't watch it you don't know how bad it is
Disadvantages: Everything has been done half-assed

...Looking through my brothers DVD collection, I wasn't expecting anything to jump out at me for a film that I must review, and to be honest nothing did. What I did spot however was a film that could perhaps be worth waiting, called 'Next Friday'. It seemed like quite an odd film to be in my brothers collection, as from the front of the DVD cover you immediately get the feeling that it is quite an 'urban' film - and my brother is anything but. Next Friday is a 2000 release, the second film in the 'Friday' trilogy, also having a follow-up by the name of 'Friday After Next'. Now I've never seen the first or third, so maybe there was some character development in the first that made this film seem really good, but I don't think Next Friday is going to be able to stand on its own two feet.
