Electrolux Fridge with Sparkling Water
Review of Electrolux ERES 31800 X by
madammadness
Advantages: Looks nice, Easy to clean, Dispenses cold water
Disadvantages: Cannot get gas for the sparkling water
...I bought this fridge in September 07 and it really is a very nice piece of equipment. It still looks brand new, even now. It's easy to clean, holds lots of stuff and the extra cooling area is handy for cooling cans. But for me, the feature that REALLY made me buy it was that I could connect it directly to my water filter and have cool sparkling water "on tap". I lapped it up :-)
However, less than a year later, I am unable to obtain any new gas cylinders or refill any of my existing cylinders. I have contacted Electrolux customer service and they have not been able to help. In fact, they gave me the run around! For this reason, I have to rate this item as "Very Poor", especially when you consider how much it cost. I wouldn't recommend you buy one of these fridges until Electrolux sort out the gas cylinder supply problem, Julie C...

Electrolux Fridge and Freezer
Review of Electrolux ERES 31800 X by
ambrigen
Advantages: Appearance and features
Disadvantages: Terrible customer service, product quality and accessory support
...I bought this fridge and its companion refrigerator in September 2007 from Comet. Nice looking pieces of equipment and the additional benefit of the sparkling water dispenser. Unfortunately, experiences with both products have been very disappointing.. I would have expected much better from Electrolux. Going through Comet just adds one extra layer of complexity (and difficulty for the customer).
- the fridge was replaced once and the freezer was replaced twice, all due to defective electronics that could not be repaired by technicians who claimed the product to be new and that they had not received full product training yet.. much time was spent chasing up repairs (and spare parts) on the phone
- the instructions manuals for the 3 freezers that we received were not written by a native english speaker (many mistakes) and the pages were...

The fridge that keeps the milk cool
Review of Zanussi ZEL140W by
mumsymary
Advantages: works ok
Disadvantages: ?
...Zanussi ZEL140W
We have 2 fridges in the staffroom at work one is a Zanussi ZEL140W. This fridge is used mainly to store milk for the staff teas and coffee we buy lots on Mondays and this fridge keeps it fresh till Friday.
I must admit I was surprised to notice that one of our fridges was a zanussi product as they are not the cheapest. Zanussi however are a reliable make. Zanussi was founded in 1916 by Antonio Zanussi. In Italy. In the 1980’s zanussi became one of Electrolux’s companies. Electrolux was formed in Stockholm in 1912 and now is the owner of many electrical product companies including Zanussi.
Back to the Zanussi ZEL140W.
I looked on line to see the price and found it unavailable at a lot of sites (perhaps its no longer manufactured. But at empire direct.co.uk I found it for £128 + £34.99 delivery.)
The w at the end...

Zanussi-Electrolux ZRT210X
Review of Zanussi-Electrolux ZRT210X by
Lisab3410
Advantages: Stylish, efficient, large fridge
Disadvantages: Cost, not enough freezer space
...I love my fridge freezer! It is stylish and fits perfectly under the counter. If you cannot have an integrated fridge freezer then this is a great option.
There are a couple of down points though... this is more expensive than buying a seperate fridge and freezer for under the counter and there are only three drawers in the freezer. I manage to fit quite a lot in mine, but it can be a bit like doing a jigsaw puzzle trying to fit everything in. There is ample space in the fridge section. Please note the stainless stell model is more expensive than the white.
I am pleased I purchased this as it looks good in my modern kitchen. If you can afford to spend a little extra and do not require excessive amounts of freezer space then I would suggest you buy tjis. If you eat frozen food everyday day and do not have the extra cash, then I...

The Big Freeze
Review of Zanussi-Electrolux ZNB404W by
sparkled_pixie
Advantages: Lots of room, energy efficient, good value for money
Disadvantages: None
...The Zanussi-Electrolux ZNB404W is a white frost free fridge large capacity fridge freezer which is currently sitting in my kitchen; it is also availble in silver if like me you want your kitchen accessories to match your kitchen, however you should expect to pay more for the silver model. Large capacity means that it has a large capacity space for food. This Zanussi-Electrolux models is 'A' Energy efficiency rated which means that it is much cheaper to run and is also kinder to the environment, as well as being CFC and HFC free.
The reason we decided to go for such a large fridge freezer when there is only John and I is because I like to make my own soups and jams using home made produce as far as I can and once ive made them then I need storage space and for me this fridge freezer provides that. When we looked into purchasing a new...

Good value for money
Review of Electrolux ER7826B Fridge Freezer by
BJR
Advantages: Good value, robust
Disadvantages: None
...The large capacity freezer was my main reason for choosing this model. I found that most fridge freezers had a large fridge and small freezer, where as this one is just the opposite. The freezer has an ice tray and four good sized drawers, all made of sturdy transparent plastic. Many I looked at had very flimsy drawers, but this model is very robust. The removeable drawers make for ease of cleaning and defrosting. A tool which comes with the appliance can be fitted to the base in order to channel water into a bowl when defrosting - very easy to use. The fridge has two salad drawers and two adjustable shelves. The door has a very sturdy compartment for bottles, milk containers etc. All in all, an excellent product at a very reasonable price....

Do you want to chill or freeze?
Review of Zanussi-Electrolux ZRB8441W by
mumsymary
Advantages: good manufactrer in my experience
Disadvantages: none
...I was browsing for a product to write on and I came across a fridge freezer. Zanussi-Electrolux ZRB8441W.
Zanussi is an Italian firm that has been making household appliances like cookers and fridges since 1916. Electrolux is a Swedish firm that started by making vacuum cleaners in 1912.
In 1984. Electrolux bought Zanussi and is now a massive producer of all things electrical for the home.
Although I do not own this product I have and do own other equipment by Electrolux and by Zanussi. I have found the other equipment good well built, reliable and long lasting.
About the machine
--------
This is available in White. I browsed the internet I can not find the same number appliance with out the w in silver (or any other colour)

faulty compressor
Review of Bernstein 02 800950 Fridges by
hi-phy
Advantages: none
Disadvantages: expensive repairs
...I bought this fridge as part of a fitted kitchen from B & Q. Within the first year it had broken down and the compressor was replaced under the terms of the guarantee.Just over a year later, the replacement compressor also packed in, and I am now faced with a repair bill of £300. I also had to pay a call out charge of £46 just to find out that the compressor was broken. The compressor has the model number: GD36AA and is made by Electrolux, so it may be fitted to other manufacturers' fridges. Anyone thinking of buying a kitchen from B & Q should consider taking the extended guarantee on the appliances. I should mention that the freezer has given no trouble so far....

AS COLD AS ICE!
Review of Electrolux ENN 26800 by
CoupeQueen
Advantages: Frost Free
Disadvantages: A bit noisy
...Electrolux Fridge-Freezer ENN26800 50:50
A BRIEF HISTORY
Electrolux is a Swedish corporation founded in 1910. The name Electrolux is a combination three separate companies' names - Elektromekaniska, Elektron and Lux. These three companies joined forces in 1919 and came up with the name Elektrolux. It wasn't until 1957 when they decided to change the 'k' to a 'c' and make it Electrolux.
Electrolux is now one of the worlds leading electrical appliance companies. It sells over 40 million products each year in 150 countries worldwide.
INTRODUCTION
We recently built a new extension onto our house to make our kitchen bigger. We then, had to buy a new kitchen, so off we went to all the places we could think of to pick up brochures. To cut a long story short we decided on one we really liked in Wickes. The next job was to choose...

AEG Electrolux Fridge
Review of AEG-Electrolux S 75358 KG3 by
Spottydog11
Advantages: Looks good, full of room, big doors, big shelves, easy to clean
Disadvantages: None
...I moved into my new house about a year and a half ago and as it came unfurnished needed to buy a fridge pretty quickly. Being half American I had always loved the big American Fridges that hold enough food for a family for about a year with a water filter on the front and an ice machine so I had this in mind when I went to Currys.
However as I found out these fridges are also quite wide and the space I had to put my fridge in was quite small which is when I came across the AEG Electrolux fridge/freezer. IT was £650 at Currys which I didn't think was too bad.
The first thing that attracted me to this fridge was the look and design. It's a free standing, chrome fridge so it's not plastic looking like some fridges. The outside is very easy to clean as it is just wipe clean. It has two section, the fridge portion and the freezer portion...
