Advantages: A nice size, looks good, a great souvenir of Barry AND shows my love of Gavin & Stacey Disadvantages: Feels a bit too fragile on the edges
...I was completely late when it came to the whole Gavin & Stacey thing; I only watched it after they'd finished making the show, but one night me and Mark sat through every single episode back-to-back on some satellite channel and suddenly I got what all the hype was about.
So when we found ourselves in Cardiff over Mothers Day weekend we decided to take a drive down to Barry to see where they made the programme. Personally I thought Barry was shite, but one of the (very few open) gift shops sold these excellent Gavin & Stacey ceramic fridge magnets - I had to buy one to add to my ever-expanding magnet collection!
Completely done in black and white, the magnet should be more striking than it is. I feel mean saying that as I do love the magnet but I just don't feel the colouring has been done adequately enough to make it stand out from...

My daughter who is 8 years old had this as one of her birthday presents. She is very arty crafty and loves pretty things, so this Mould & Paint Glitter Fairy Fridge Magnets had all the things she likes rolled into one. This kit will make a total of 12 badges/fridge magnets with the plaster supplied, but...
Advantages: Fun, easy to use, keeps kids happy. Disadvantages: None.

At the time my kids were 3 & 1, and both pretty clingy (you?ll see why this is relevant later) and both seemed obsessed with fridge magnets. This toy is a combination of fridge magnets, music, and animals.
It's very simply a little plastic farmhouse which fixes to your fridge, or washing machine if you feel the need; and with this little farmhouse comes a selection of animal magnets, which are all in two pieces i.e. you get a cow's head and a cow's bum, a duck's head and a duck's bum, also a horse, sheep and a pig. Now these little magnets stick to your fridge, but they also fit into a little housing on the front of the farmhouse, and when you stick two pieces in...
