...On purchasing a Blomberg frost free fridge/freezer with the position of the fidge/freezer we had to change the doors around. After following the instructions very carefully it does not tell you to heat the seal so it can realign itself, otherwise your freezer compartment breaks down. Luckily it is under warrenty but it takes another week without a fridge/freezer. Other than that it is a great fridge/freezer with extras inside. The fridge has a bottle holder for two bottles and a tray which both are connected to the under side of one of the shelves, the freezer has an top shelf which has two ice trays which you can take out without moving the shelf, also there is room for extra ice trays or ice pops for the little ones.... ...We bought this fridge-freezer online and are very happy with it after a couple of weeks. The delivery was prior arranged and was on time as planned. The fridge itself its quite light so was easy to move into the position we wanted it. Also useful was the removable door handle which meant we could put it on the other side of the fridge which suited the position it is in. The inside is very well planned with lots of space. The adjustable shelves are a perk and the bottle rack, very useful. The freezer section is also very ergonomical and the frost-proof function is worth paying the extra money for. So far we have nothing whatsoever to complain about, and would say the appliance is very good value for money and would reccomend to all.... Read review

...In a quest to save the planet I have been over time replacing my old energy inefficient kitchen appliances in an attempt to do my bit. I can't live without a fridge/freezer or a washing machine, but I can make sure that the ones I have use as little electricity and give off as few dangerous gases as possible. I bought the Bosch KGV33365GB for 2 main reasons. It is Class A when it comes to energy efficiency and doesn't give off either CFC's or HFC's. The only downside to doing my bit was the price. £379, some £200 more expensive than the last fridge/freezer I bought some years ago. The fridge/freezer is a free standing combo that stands 1.75m tall and is 60cm wide and comes in a choice of silver or white. The silver in my opinion is the better option and is the one I purchased. ...As I've stated in another review for a chest freezer, I purchased this fridge/freezer due to my previous one being on its last legs! As it was nearing Christmas and my old fridge/freezer was making a lot of weird noises, I decided to retire it to the old fridge/freezer graveyard and purchase a new more attractive model! After doing some online research, I'd made up my mind to choose this model due to its capacity and also for the fact that it has a freezer at the top. My last one had the freezer at the bottom and seemed to freeze anything I put in the vege boxes! I purchased this item from Currys early December 2006 for £319.00 and also got free uplift of old freezer (not sure if they're still doing that deal but this saved me around £19). ...I thought long and gard about writing this op as I do not want to be preceived as a vexacious complainer, but I will not accept poor service. So, for all you good readers out there here is my story. A couple of years ago, I bought a tumble drier from Comet, it was an own brand (Blomberg - remember that name!). I did not take out the extended warranty as I believe they are a waste of money. After 13 months it broke down. I contacted the store and a got a very rude brush off. It is under guarantee, blah, blah. Well I was not prepared to accept that as I had found out that the tumble drier actually had a manufacturing design fault - in other words it was Comets fault it had broken. As with PowerHouse I wrote several letters of complaint, made several calls and got nowhere. I threatened them with legal action, Watchdog, the works... Read review

...We have had this fridge/freezer for approximately 2 years. We find it energy efficient, and it generally meets our requirements. The fridge has plenty of space behind the fridge door for large milk cartons and smaller jars and large shelves. The two draws in the fridge we find useful for salad items, but the draws are large and at times they can become full and rather unorganised. There are no egg holders, which is useful as we find them a waste of space. One useful feature is the beep to remind you to shut the door. On the negative side the doors can swing easily as they open. The freezer door compartments are less helpful for us as they seem small and at times items get stuck in them. Otherwise the freezer provides reasonable space - but for a family of 5 it can seem small. We have had no maintenance problems with this fridge/freezer... Read review

...I was looking for a big fridge-freezer for my never stop eating family. I found it in Bosch! It not only has a large storage space it is so easy to clean. Compared to the one I had before which took me ages. With this I could have it cleaned within the hour,which is a real bonus! The only problem is that the shelves are not particulary strong. One of them is starting to crack! I am not sure what I should do. Maybe I should go back to the manufacturer.... Read review

...Since we purchased this product in September 2006 the Fridge compartment has failed 3 times! Engineers have to tried to repair it on each occasion, but about 6 months later (or less) it failed with the same problem. There appears to be a design fault with this model of fridge/freezer. Indesit won't admit it to me, but I have found reviews all over the net, describing exactly the same symptoms. When it fails you hear a loud whining sound. I was told by the visiting engineer, that the Fridge compartment gets it's cold air from the Freezer compartment and the whining sound is caused by a fan which gets iced up and starts to complain as it labours. As a result, cold air is not being directed in to the Fridge compartment. Indesit/Hotpoint have a new policy (late 2007) that you have to pay an engineer callout fee of about £100... Read review
