You always need Friends

Advantages: Completely funny, loveable characters
Disadvantages: You'd spend a lot of time if you wanted to watch every episode from the 10 series!

Advantages: Its Friends
Disadvantages: The DVDs are a marketing scam

...I find it really unfair that Warner Bros are allowed to get away with charging between £40 and £90 for a Friends box set, AND sell them individually for around £10.99 each. There are ways to get around this though. Bargains can be found on eBay, as always. And I got my DVDs from play.com and cdwow.com, meaning that I recieved region 4 discs, in different boxes to the British region 2 discs, for much, much less. Ive paid as little as £20 for a box set thats been retailling for £80, and Ive been feeling extremely smug about it, Not many people are wise to the fact that region 3 discs are playable on region 2 DVD players and PS2s. I also find it really unfair, that now that Friends is no more, and after Ive forked out on all the box sets individually, you can buy special boxes of all ten series', although Im unwilling to pay...

Friends - They Became Very Good Ones To Me

Disadvantages: Getting to the end of the boxset

...Amazon at about £12 a series and was buying 2 or 3 series at a time and soon enough I had all 10 series on DVD! This particular series cost me £12.48 from Amazon, I note that virginmegastores.co.uk are selling the series for £15.00, and tesco.com are selling it at a whopping £43.34! This particular boxed set of 3 discs was released in 2004. Each of the 24 episodes runs for about 22 minutes. The series is rated 12 in the UK - well my 3 disc DVD set is anyway! ...Okay, now that I've saw the conclusion of Friends, I can review it fairly. I remember when this show first started, I tried it and couldn't get into it. I just couldn't see what the fuss was about. 6 rather lazy 20-somethings all sitting about mocking each other over coffee. But around the fourth or fifth season, I started to watch it as countless repeats were spread across Channel 4 and the newly formed E4. And suddenly it became my must see tv. Advantages: well what can i say it Friends, it brilliant!
Disadvantages: not many extras at all, just the usual DVD features

I have started to re-buy the Friends series ‘ on DVD (I have all on video) and watched them all and remember how brilliant they were, so far I’ve only bought the first series, So I’ve decided to give you a small idea of what goes on in each episode and a rating of how funny I thought each one was. So In this opinion I thought I’d start with Series 1 and basically tell you about the first twelve episodes (the first half of the series) as I didn’t want this to be too long. ...My sister has just brought me this from the states. While this was on T.V, I tried to tune into every episode, only missing one or two now and then. I really wanted to own them all, but never got round to it, or couldn't afford it. Friends, the much loved series of a group of 6 buddies, Rachel, Joey, Phoebe, Chandler, and brother and sister Monica and Ross, captured audiences for just over a decade, with their life and love antics.
