...I bought this shampoo and conditioner as I was desperate for something to tame my dry and frizzy hair. It was expensive, but I thought well I could at least try it. I paid £22 for the shampoo and the conditioner and couldn't wait for the transformation. Boy was I dissapointed. My hair became even drier, and no, I didn't use too much shampoo. I did exactly what it said on the tin. The conditioner had the same effect. And my hair also became very unmanageable. I tried using just the shampoo with a different conditioner and the conditioner with a different shampoo to try and see which bottle it was that was causing the trouble. They both caused the same problem. My report is similar to another one on here. I just wish I hadn't wasted my money. Banish the frizzies with Frizz Ease

Advantages: Leaves hair shiny and frizz free
Disadvantages: Expensive for just 50ml

...I have mixed race textured hair and even though I have a chemical straightener in it, it is still quite curly when wet. Normally, I will blow it straight using a round brush and then tong it with ceramic straighteners. Unfortunately doing this on a regular basis overheats the hair causing dryness, damage and breakage. To give my hair recovery time every now and then I refrain from using any direct heat to it. However, if I left it to dry on its own, it would be a frizzy, unmanageable mess. ...Having tried almost all budget shampoos and conditioners in an attempt to tame my thick, dry, wavy and frizzy hair I decided to splash out on bottle of Frizz Ease "Straight Ahead" shampoo and conditioner. I had heard good reviews for the products, and given the designer name (and accompanying designer price) it certainly sounded a promising option. Miracle cure for frizzy hair without the effort

Advantages: No frizz when naturally dried, lovely curls without putting any other hair product in, hair looked healthy.
Disadvantages: Price, wish it was cheaper

frizzy fairies cry no more

Advantages: smoothe, conditioned, smells great AND protects from humidity
Disadvantages: for me the amazing results occured only when the shampoo and conditioner were combined

...I'm not totally convinced with this product.Ever since i can remember i've been trying to get rid of my frizzy hair, no products i've tried have really worked and this is really no different. It works to an extent but nothing more!taking ages to put onto u'r hair especially if u'r hairs curly and the worst of it, leaving a sticky white resudue.I don't know however if the dry condition of my hair has anything to do with this. Recently i managed to get this on offer, 2 for the price of 1, in Superdrug which is worth the money, but otherwise i wouldn't bother. Stick to the wax!!!!!...

Wet2frizzy...

Advantages: Great on dry hair, heat up quickly, wide plates good for long thick hair
Disadvantages: don't work on wet hair!

...I bought these after I borrowed them from a friend and found they straightened my (at the time LONG) hair in 10 minutes... It took me an hour (not exaggerating) with the straighteners I had at the time. I wouldn't recommend actually using them on wet hair. They don't work on wet hair. They make wet hair frizzy and straw-like (in my experience anyway)... But they are wonderful on dry hair. Probably not as good as GHDs, but very useable anyway. Maybe it's because I use them on the highest temperature setting, but I can't use them more than once a week without my hair feeling horrible.. Sometimes even once a week is pushing it. I don't really tend to use them that much anyway. I've had them for about two years now, and they still work perfectly. The only thing I would point out is... if you're putting them down on a surface...

...THE PRICE... Lets get the nitty gritty bit out the way...It wasn't TOO badly priced for a so-called 'designer' shampoo. For a smallish bottle (250ml) I paid £3.50. More than I would usually pay but I forked it out none-the-less because it did sound good and although my hair wasn't frizzy as such, the shampoo claimed to be "prescribed for dry, frizzy or colour treated" too. THE LOOK... The Frizz Ease range is all nice clinically white bottles, the type you see at the hairdresser, and by the way it's phrased "prescribed for dry, frizzy or colour-treated hair"...I don't know, it seems very, medical and scientific! I'm usually drawn to nice looking bottles but I was more drawn to what this one said it would do to my hair! WHAT IT SAYS... Supposedly, this shampoo "thoroughly cleanses while defrizzing; unique formula...

...out and I am not always impressed, but I really have been with this little bottle. So that leads me to why I can’t recall the price of it, see I haven’t been able to buy any for the last few months. Tesco’s appeared to have stopped stocking it!!! I have succumbed to some similar products but they don’t come anywhere near this one. HELP!!!!! I am destined to going back to being called “Crystal Tips” (as I was at school…”and Alistair?” you remember? Anyone know where I can buy it now??
