...I've only quite recently begun shopping with Amazon, the main reason being receiving vouchers from survey sites and from on here. It's now one of the first sites I look at when making a purchase. ~~~ Products ~~~ Amazon.co.uk stocks a massive variety of products. So far everything I have searched for has been available to buy on the site, although most of the things have been quite common like DVD's and games. I can't think of anywhere that stocks as much stuff as Amazon, maybe not even Ebay. ~~~ Prices ~~~ The prices on Amazon are very competitive and are usually the cheapest place to but DVD's and games, again being usually cheaper than Ebay, I have no doubt that this is the case for many other products. The main down side is that cash back sites don't offer cash back for Amazon, or am I on the wrong cash back site...

You just pick the item you want, add it to your basket, go to the checkout and enter your debit/credit card details. However, you do need to be a registered member in order to buy anything. Once you've bought something you can track your order using the "Your Account" feature. I think that "Your Account" is really good although the options could be clearer and most of them could be grouped together as one option instead of 8 or 9 as they are similar. ...I went online and ordered three books from Amazon.co.uk on Sunday 7 June - Hilary Mantel's Wolf Hall, Sarah Waters' The Little Stranger and A.S Byatt's The Children's Book- and they were with me on the morning of Tuesday 9 June. Much recommended - the website is straighforward and the delivery time - in my own experience - is excellent. There are massive discounts on the shop prices of most items. The books i ordered would have cost me over £45 in the shops but the three hardbacks i ordered came in at less then £30. Free delivery if order is over £5. Orders are easily tracked online if you need to find out where your order is. The delivery men were also very friendly and knocked on the door, where some delivery people wouldn't....

...The entire amazon company is probably one of the best know, most used and most visited websites on the internet. It was one of the first major companies to sell goods over the net and was one of the companies that survived the dot com bubble burst of the late 90's. Jeff Bezos founded Amazon.com, Inc. in 1994, and went online the following year. At first it was just selling books, but soon started to sell video tapes, CD's, video games and, eventually, DVD's. Now it has websites for the UK (which I'll be reviewing here), Japan, Germany, France and China. When you get to the front page, you'll notice that is very inviting. Lots of bright colours set on a white background makes the site look very clear. It doesn't feel cluttered though, even though there is a lot to look at, everything is well organized.
