...Lightspeed Panel is an online market research company that when you have registered with them, invite you to participate in surveys for which you earn 'Lightspeed Points'. These points can then be converted into vouchers or money. The website address to find out more about Lightspeed is WWW.LIGHTSPEEDPANEL.COM which gives you all the info you will require about the site and their objectives. The only problem I found with the site is that there is no direct link to actually join Lightspeed through their website. For those interested in joining the way I did it was to send them an email. On their website it gives the email address for their customer service lady Lauren. I sent her an email asking how to register and she then emailed me back with the link. A truthworthy survey panel

Advantages: get fair reward points immediately

...Lightspeed panel has become my favourite research site. I joined them about four month ago. I receive invitations for the surveys once or twice a week, but I discovered that it is worth signing in occasionally because there are available surveys you don't get invitation for. I don't know what happens to these surveys, because I always fill them if I discover. They can choose better their focus groups than other survey panels, so I don't get screened out so often. I would say I match 8 out of 10 occasions. They reward quite fairly my effort of taking their surveys. I get 50, 80 or 110 points for the surveys depending on their length. 115 points worth 1 pound via PayPal, but 550 points can be redeemed to a 5 pound Amazon voucher. ...Joined 'Ipsos Interactive Panel' a few months ago and it is one of my top survey sites to date as I have had more success with it compared to a few other sites I joined.. I do not recall where I found the link but I doubt it was directlly through the site..must have got an email from a survey directory. It is easy to sign up and it's free to join. It is open to residents in a number of companies, I think mainly in Europe going by the selection of countries listed on their home page languages to select.. Lightspeed Panel - One of the best

...honest it was not until I read a review on Lightspeed that I realised that they are above average payers for a survey company. Obviously this is my opinion. But I am also a member of quite a few others and up to now this one seems to have paid out the most since I have been a member. They also have a good range of rewards, a wide variety, offering not just gifts but vouchers and Paypal payments as well. Overall I think Lightspeed Panel are quite good and I would recommend them to you if you are thinking of joining a survey panael. I would like to add that up to yet I have not requested payment....

The book is essentially a war/ resistance type novel with lots of battles and counter insurgency rear guard actions. The book follows differing teams of human fighter as they each have a story and a battle to fight. Some are successful and some disastrous slaughters. The Polseen are nasty aliens and no empathy comes across in the book, they want to totally dominate the humans and take over the Earth. The characters draw your pity as they fight against overwhelming odds and weapons so advanced only trickery and humans sacrificing themselves can help to defeat the Polseen commandos. Hanko Front Museum - a labour of love

Advantages: Interesting, well researched, great for history buffs, different to other museums
Disadvantages: Lack of captions in English; you may not be into military history

Strictly speaking the Front Musuem in Lappohja in Southern Finland should have been closed for the winter when we visited the area in September 2007; in fact mid-September onwards is very much seen as the "off season" for most attractions in Finland, other than those in the heart of the cities (and even some of these close down for several months too). However, our Lonely Planet had been wrong before so we enquired at the tourist information office in the nearby town of Hanko.
