...My mum bought this item home from Tesco today. She was attracted by the beautiful appearance of the fruit. *~*~*The Fruit*~*~* The fruit itself is a bright pink colour with green scales. It definitely stands out from the other edibles on the shelf. It is an oval sort of shape and about 4/5 inches tall. There are 3 types of Dragon Fruit and they all have very technical names. The Hylocereus undatus, which is what my mum bought, has pink skin and white flesh, the Hylocereus polyrhizus, which has pink skin and red flesh and the Selenicereus megalanthus, which has yellow skin and white flesh. I must stress that I haven't sampled the latter two varieties and therefore this review is solely on the Hylocereus undatus. The inside of the fruit has white flesh as stated above, this flesh is very soft (a bit like a kiwi fruit in appearance...

Shoot the fruit.

Advantages: Handy sized bottle, looks good!!
Disadvantages: Not very tasty at all.

...I came across these orange and peach fruit shoots in my local shop, two packs of four bottles for £2.09, not bad hey!! They come in these flavours as far as I know ,Orange, Orange and peach and Blackcurrant and apple. The reason I was getting these is that my step daughter was off to kentwell hall and they said if it was hot to pack the children up with plenty of drink for the day so she took four drinks with her. ...I wanted something a bit fruity yesterday so decided upon on trying Oasis Summer fruits drink instead of a fizzy drink like Coke again, despite the fact these cost a little bit more they are healthier and won't rot my teeth. There was the summer fruits and the citrus punch flavours available both for around 97p for a 500ml bottle. The bottle is adorned with a lovely label showing off the mixture of fruits contained with in images of Cherry's, Strawberry's, Redcurrants and Apples. Rather tauntingly to be honest considering the summer us British folk seem to have ahead of us seems more like it's going to be cold wet and windy and the only summer fruits we have are the people that told us it was going to be hot and lovely. ...Rowntree's Fruit Pastilles are Nestle's eldest product having being launched in 1881. I don't know about then, but they still have a great taste today and are one of my favourite sweets. You buy them in long tubes for around 40p depending on the shop. They have a very bright and colourful packaging, which stands out from all the other sweets. The Rowntrees logo is on the front with the 'Fruit Pastilles' logo in bold, round yellow letters. The packaging consists of paper on the outside with the design and the inner part is foil. The paper holds together the foil and stops it from opening whilst the foil itself insulates the sweets. You open one end of the packet by undoing the foil. I went into Poundland of all places and saw that they had a packet of 4 Robinsons Fruit Shoots for 1 pound. I checked the best before date, which was Dec 07, and I grabbed a packet of the Strawberry flavour ones. Before people jump on me, he always drinks water but I thought he could have a treat! The drinks came in 4 small red plastic bottles, which contain 200ml of juice, just enugh per bottle to fill my son's beaker. They have a sports cap nozzle which is also screwable, so I just removed the sports nozzle and poured it into my sons beaker as he is too young to use the sports cap. And after a couple of days searching, and having no avail in small shops like Co-op, Spar and Somerfield, we found them in Sainsburys. The Product; Fruit Squeezies are made by Innocent, the makers of Innocent Smoothie, the ones who put nothing into their smoothies other than crushed fruit, no added anything, not even added water. And these Fruit Squeezies are exactly the same. They come in two flavours, Strawberry & Rasberry flavour and Pinapple & Mango flavour.
