Yummy strawberry and Mango in my tea

Advantages: tastes good, smells fruity

...This is my first tea review although I have a great collection of fruit tea at home. I don?t really like black and green tea. I buy only fruit tea. I am aware of the advantages of green tea but I can?t drink it. I am a coffee addict and I drink tea only occasionally when the weather is awful outside and I need a hot cup to hold in my hands for a couple of minutes. Price and package ----------------------- Twinings Strawberry & Mango tea comes in a paper box which contains 20 bags of lovely tea. The teabags are wrapped individually in paper sachets. The box on the top of it is dark pink and gradually it becomes almost white on the bottom. There is a golden stripe on the box and in it you find the Twinings logo written by black letters. Not a tea to dunk your biccie in :)

Advantages: Healthier alternative to regular tea
Disadvantages: Weak unless brewed for a while

...I've always liked the idea and the sound of fruit teas as an alternative to my usual PG tips with lots of milk...however all my previous experiences have left me with quite a negative impression. They seem to remind me of a bitter and weak version of hot vimto, so I've now lost count of the number of boxes I've bought expecting to find a new favourite hot drink, only to banish it to the back of the cuboard to be forgotten and eventually binned. However on my latest health kick after a busy month of holiday cocktails birthday shorts and freshers week shots I decided I would once again give them a try. I like quite sweet flavours so the strawberry and mango caught my eye. They come in a box of 20 for approx £1 which at 5p a bag seems quite reasonable. So I boiled the kettle, popped in a bag and left to brew for several minutes...

It's Tea But Not As We Know It

Advantages: Wide range of flavours
Disadvantages: High sugar content

Some of my personal favourites are: Cranberry & Raspberry - this is ideal mixed with cold water on a hot summer day. Pink Grapefruit - this is again best served as an iced tea. It is a little sharper in taste than the rest of the range. Mango & Passion fruit – the hint of passion fruit complements the sweetness of the mango perfectly. Blackcurrant & Elderflower – I drink this one either hot or cold depending on my mood! ...My mum bought this item home from Tesco today. She was attracted by the beautiful appearance of the fruit. *~*~*The Fruit*~*~* The fruit itself is a bright pink colour with green scales. It definitely stands out from the other edibles on the shelf. It is an oval sort of shape and about 4/5 inches tall. There are 3 types of Dragon Fruit and they all have very technical names. The Hylocereus undatus, which is what my mum bought, has pink skin and white flesh, the Hylocereus polyrhizus, which has pink skin and red flesh and the Selenicereus megalanthus, which has yellow skin and white flesh. I must stress that I haven't sampled the latter two varieties and therefore this review is solely on the Hylocereus undatus. The inside of the fruit has white flesh as stated above, this flesh is very soft (a bit like a kiwi fruit in appearance...

Shoot the fruit.

Advantages: Handy sized bottle, looks good!!
Disadvantages: Not very tasty at all.

...I came across these orange and peach fruit shoots in my local shop, two packs of four bottles for £2.09, not bad hey!! They come in these flavours as far as I know ,Orange, Orange and peach and Blackcurrant and apple. The reason I was getting these is that my step daughter was off to kentwell hall and they said if it was hot to pack the children up with plenty of drink for the day so she took four drinks with her. Packaging The little Orange bottles came in a pack of four with a cardboard sleeve holding them together. Advantages: A fantastic tasting tea!

...I am a huge tea drinker. Mornings aren?t right without a cup of tea straight away, one there is always one before bed. Then, as many as I fancy during the day, which can be anything up to 20 or so. I always have enjoyed drinking tea, but since coming to uni, I seem to drink it even more, probably due partially to fact that water here tastes horrible, even with squash, and I cannot afford to live on Pepsi Max. The other thing that has changed at uni, is what I have to spend money on. From buying my own food, to washing, and all those other things which I had previously been able to rely on Mum for, it all added up, and my overdraft was demolished rather too quickly (still waiting for my student loan?) and that left me with my cupboards running bare, as I watched the last pounds drift out of my bank accounts.
