FRYING TONIGHT

Advantages: Sneakily delicious
Disadvantages: Sometime you wished you hadn't eaten it

...This may sound a little strange, it might even sound completely weird, but Mrs P is not a huge fan of chocolate. Well, that's only partly true. No, I don't mean that she doesn't like chocolate but she is huge, I mean that she is very particular about what chocolate she eats. As by the name you probably realise that they are a snack in the shape of french fries (skinny chips as my children call them). Advantages: Tasty, nice flavours and filling despite being low fat
Disadvantages: my daughter likes them too

...While I was out shopping yesterday I stumbled across a multipack of Walkers French fries. There were ten in a pack, five 'fish and chip' flavour which I thought my little girl would like and five 'worcester sauce' flavour which I happen to love but never see anywhere. Priced at a pound for ten packets I couldnt resist the bargain! This was the first time I had seen this multipack and it was in B&M supermarket but I often see six packs with two cheese and onion, two plain and two salt and vinegar in all supermarkets for around £1.30. Considering the fact that I am eating them at the moment I will concerntrate my opinion on the worcester sauce flavour. The packet is your average 30g pack of crisps size. ...I am not normally keen on Walkers crisps, as I find them a bit bland and boring. However, Walkers French Fries are the exception to the rule. I absolutely love 'em! I'm sure most people have tried these at some time or other. But for the benefit of those who haven't, let me tell you a bit about them. Frying tonight AND it's OK for the diet!

Advantages: Low fat, low calorie, easy to use

...much as we like of the right foods so that suits us just fine. We do like our food! LOL! Looking through the diet information and recipe sheets I noticed that any products needing oil, such as roast potatoes, were to be cooked using a product called Fry Light. When shopping in Tesco I investigated and found that there are three varieties Fry Light Sunflower Oil Spray, Fry Light Extra Virgin Olive Oil Spray and Fry Light Better Than Butter Oil Spray. They were all priced at £1.97 for a 250ml carton. This sounded like good value to me as it will only ever be used a spray at a time so I bought the Olive Oil version. I chose this one because I usually use olive oil to cook so the taste would be similar to what we were used to. The carton is made completely from plastic - so it can be fully recycled then!
