...When my brother was 15 he decided to go get a "proper" haircut. In the past he'd just let my dad attack him with the hair clippers, but all his friends were getting all these new messy cuts, so he had to join in. As usual, when they got to the counter the hairdresser went through the suggested products and my brother ended up picking out the Fudge Hair Shaper: firm hold factor 2. I had a read of the back and as well as styling it said it could also be used to scrunch hair. Since I have curly hair I have pinched it a few times to try and define my curls better. Packaging It comes in an orange plastic pot with a grey/silver lid. The Fudge symbol (a black design with an 'F' in the centre) is displayed on top of the lid. Shoppingpuss loves Fudged up hair!

Advantages: Shapes hair and smells great

...the orange and silver 100g tub of Fudge Shaper I found what looked like white creamy textured wax/cream. It felt sticky to the touch and I was very dubious at first about putting this gunk on my hair...but the smell lured me in. Hmmm... fudge smell. I loved the smell immediately. So I dipped in my fingers into this white sticky fudge cream, rubbed my hands together a bit, then spread and scrunched it into my dry hair to create a wavy messed up look. I was immediately surprised at how well it worked and although I had scrunched in a fair bit, my hair didn't look greasy or feel heavy either. My hands however did need to be washed straight away otherwise anything touched would have been fudged! Ooh, Your Hair Smells Nice

Advantages: Excellent hold, smells great, washes out easily, not that widely available.
Disadvantages: Expensive compared with most high street styling products, not that widely available.

Definitely the best hair styling product I've ever used, it doesn't just smell nice, but holds extremely well and even when you use it as regularly as I do, lasts for ages. Fudge up your hair!

Advantages: Easy to use, great results, does what it says on the tin!

..., that I start to feel that I have wasted my money - sometimes semi-permenants are more expensive than permenants. So there I am, sitting with all my friends, over what I would like to say was a cup of frappacino or something...but was in fact a double vodka or something, discussing this problem with them, when one of them suggests using hairspray. I've always found wash in/wash outs to make your hair feel hard and sticky, but she assured me that with Fudge, this was not the case. So the next day I rush out to find the product. I had a little problem getting hold of it...I eventually found it in Superdrug, but it wasn't in Boots or any of the cheaper stores (somethimes Wilkinson etc sell cheap hair dye). Put this on your hair (but not in your mouth!)

Advantages: Everything... and smells lke fudge
Disadvantages: Expensive (but worth it), hard to find and smells like Fudge?

.... The most important thing to note is that these products seem to maintain control without making your hair dull and greasy, which is the let down of every wax and cream I've tried. It also only requires a small amount and smells great, what more can you ask for. I'm definately going to give some of the other Fudge products a shot too and see what the range in general is like. Overall, I'd definately recommend this to everyone, give it a shot at least and you'll see why I'm so keen on this stuff. And for all you men, just because your hair smells like it's been covered in caramel, this doesn't make you any less of a man. Although in fairness, maybe it's the ladies who should be answering this question. Any offers?...

Fabulous Fudge

...Fudge Hair shaper is a God-send! I was first introduced to it by my sister and I was so impressed, I had to buy some. Fudge is only available from hair salons and is fairly expensive. I paid £7:95 for a 100g pot which is quite expensive, although totally worthwhile. I used to use wax but I didnt like the effect, my hair would sometimes look greasy from using it. Fudge Hair Shaper is extremely versatile because you can comb it through your hair as well as scrunching and moulding it. I especially like to use this product for spiking my hair and the effect will last a long time. The Hair shaper has a pleasant 'fudge' smell to it and doesnt leave your hair looking sticky and dry. Its worth trying because of it's numerous uses....

I have for many years had long hair, for a many reasons. 1) I'm lazy & it was easy just to plod along with my scruffy hair 2) It's cheap just letting it get longer, with your mother-in-law cutting it occasionally. 3) As my hair is curly, I felt it was the only thing I could do. As I am writing this opinion, my hair is trim, neat & looking fantastic. With my faithful companion Fudge sat next to me. I decided at the end of July this year to get my hair cut. I asked what could be done to control my curl & make it look presentable. She reached for a small orange tub, rubbed her hands & styled my hair into a masterpiece - the curls were more plentiful, but all beautifully formed - I paid the lady & bought for £8 earth pounds...

...This stuff rocks! I discovered fudge shaper when my hairdresser used it on my newly-short hair. She was doing this 'shake about and scrunch' thing, and the first I knew was this beautiful smell! I bought some straight away! It smells sweet, but not at all sickly. Fudge is an apt name to describe the smell and texture. At around £9 a tub, it's not cheap, but it outperforms similarly priced products like TIGI Bedhead. You only need a tiny bit, and it's perfect for unstructured, short to medium styles. You just place a tiny bit (tip of your finger) between your palms, rub together and spread through towel-dried or dry hair, then scrunch and rub until it looks great!
