...Fijifilm is not a brand name for photography that I have used in the past. I did not choose to buy this product, someone bought me this digital card in April and I have got to say it is very handy. The Fujifilm digital card is approximately. 30mm x 20mm x 4mm. The card is very thin, lightweight, but it is small enough to loose very easily. If you are buying this, be sure to buy a small plastic case to prevent from dirt, dust and loss. The card is blue, but the colour of the plastic coating doesn't really bother me as I don't tend to look at the card when it is in use anyway. On the front of the Fujifilm card it has a sticker in the centre, with the Fujifilm branding and the memory size. The memory card I have has a different sticker to the one shown in the picture. ...After much searching for the best price online I found Purely Gadgets and was delighted that it was a lot cheaper than anywhere else for the Fujifilm S1000FD I had wanted. Initially I was nervous about using them as it wasn't a website I'd heard of but took the plunge and was soon delighted I did. It was easy to track my order status on their website and when it had been dispatched I was sent an e-mail with a DHL tracking number. Further enquiries as to my order were answered at an exceptional speed and delivery was almost as quick. The product was and packaging were in excellent condition and the postal packaging was extremely secure to ensure that there would be no damage in transit. ...This a fantastic camera for beginners who wish to start taking more serious photos, but aren't ready for the comminment of the more high tech digital SLRs, or who can't afford one. It's a great camera for holidays, as it's more powerful than a compact, but not as chunky as most of the digital SLRs, so it's easy to carry round and take great scenery shots, but also takes fantastic great party shots! The optical zoom is great, and the digital zoom is powerful enough to withstand excessive editing on a digital kiosk! It's also very reasonably priced, and most camera shops will sell it as part of a package deal, with a case, memory card and an overnight battery charger. ...Well I had an old panasonic digital camera and wanted rid as it was useless (£60 in Tesco if I remember) so I needed another option. I'd liked to have paid £1000's for a Digital SLR but I was unfortunately limited to about £250. So I went for the F401 from Fujifilm as a couple of mates had been to the states and got one each. Managed to pick one up cheap for £200 on the nose and was reasonably happy. Ok the good and bad points I have found so far : Good. Great size and very easy to handle. Considering its only 2.1 megapixel, I think the photos have come out great although some shots have needed a little colour/contrast adjusting in paintshop pro to get them just right. Advantages: 6x optical zoom, many manual features

...I bought my FinePix 2800 a little over a year ago, and have taken 1000's of pictures with it. The main reasons for me choosing this camera over other similar models were: Good price 6x Optical zoom "Mini SLR" style shape (easy to hold) numerous features including white balance control, self timer, macro mode, movie mode with sound... This camera has 2 LCD displays, one larger one on the back for reviewing pictures (and for taking too) and another in place of the optical viewfinder. Having a LCD display instead of the optical viewfinder is good because it shows a true representation of the picture you are framing (i.e. no parallax errors like with traditional optical viewfinders), but it can get difficult to see when there is a strong light behind you. ...Having replaced my Fuji S5500 with the Fujifilm FinePix S6500fd, I was a little taken aback at the controls and the size of the owners manual. The quality of the photos are totally outstanding and it has 10mb of internal memory, nice touch. but no supplied XD card, I guess a trade off has to be made somewhere. The large LCD screen makes taking pics easier and coupled with the automatic face detection it helps to ensure that the faces are by and large in focus. There is a large range of presets and there is the manual mode where the user can, if they know what to do, can achieve professional quality images with ease. Some may not like using the manual zoom, some will love it. I am in love with te entire package. The menus are well laid out and easily accessible. ...I was recently given a Fuji MX camera as a 21st birthday gift. It is a good camera but the problem I found was with the memory cards. It came with a 4mb card which is very limited in terms of capacity and so I looked into buying another. I first visited the likes of comet who quoted £40 for a 8mb FujiFilm card. I asked if there were any other cards on the market (non-branded) and was told no. I then tried a local proffessional camera shop. The chap was very helpful and said that he did not stock FujiFilm cards as they were too expensive. Instead he offered me a non branded card that has worked perfectly since I purchased it. It came with a 1 year guarantee and cost HALF the price of the FujiFilm card. The large chain stores should better train their staff if they wish to offer a higher level of customer service. .... This means no messing around with CD's of drivers (though Fujifilm do provide some software with the camera if you want to use it), it truly is plug and play! The main disadvantages of this camera are that it is supplied with a limited memory card out of the box (16MB), but this will get you started, fitting 33 x 1 megapixel photos or 10 x 3 megapixel photos in Fine mode. I have recently bought a 512MB card (which can be obtained for around £35) which allows over 1000 x 1 megapixel photos and over 300 x 3 megapixel photos in Fine mode. The camera also does not come with a dock, like several cameras in this level do. This means that you have to have a trailing USB wire. Overall this camera is excellent for those who are looking for a "Snap Happy" camera with a few extra features. The overall quality of photos is excellent and the 3x optical zoom... Read review

...This camera is the best thing ever - this is the second fujifilm camera i have and it is brilliant the quality is superb and definatley a once in a lifetime camera cos no substitute will be needed unless it get stolen. ALways use it with fujifilm though cos that imporves the quality no end and when photos are only taken once it is worth paying for the best! I used this camera for all the important dates in my calendar and the results could rival any proffessional. ...or on other visits. This opinion is basically talking about APS cameras in general but Fujifilm are now producing a range of APS cameras all compact and lightweight. This particular camera can take photos in the dark up to 10 metres which for a small compact camera with a small flash is excellent. All the features that are listed above all apply to this camera and most other APS cameras. If you are reading this opinion and are considering purchasing an APS camera then i reccommend going to Jessops. They have a good service and the staff are generally well informed about the cameras.... Read review
