The 12x optical zoom is excellent and it equates to 33-396mm in 35mm terms - and if this isn't enough, there is a 5.7x digital zoom feature too. ...FINE TO PIX FUJI I have owned the Fuji Film FinePix Z10 for around two months. It is red and quite funky. I am not a trendy teenager, in fact I am over sixty, but really love it's trendy appearance and also the fact that it is neat enough just to slip in my pocket or handbag. It is also funky enough to draw admiring glances from other people, especially youngsters. It is easy to download pictures on to my PC which with other cameras has sometimes been a problem. There is an extensive handbook with it, which as yet I have only read the basic instructions. I am sure there is much more that I could do with my camera. Technical part: works on windows Vista, XP home, XP Pro, 2000 Pro. 7.2 mega pixals, 3x optical zoom and 2.5 incg LCD screen Handy extras (not supplied) - XD picture memory card and carry case. Memory card is deffinately recommended so you can take more pictures and a carry case would be nice although I don't use one as it's small and light enough to fit in the pocket of my handbag. Not being a camera person and never really using one before I found this easy to set up and install on my PC. Advantages: The camera is brilliant, everything I wanted and didn't get with my vivitar camera

...The Fuji FinePix F70EXR is billed by the manufacturer as the slimmest 10x zoom camera on the market and, at less than 23mm in depth, it is certainly very easy and convenient to carry around. The zoom is great for magnification, being the equivalent of 27-270mm in 35mm terms, but I found it to be a little fuzzy at the long end. There is also a 4x digital zoom for anyone who wants it. The FinePix F-series cameras are renowned for their low-light (high ISO) capabilities and the F70EXR should be no exception, sharing as it does the 1/2 inch sensor of the F200EXR but with 2 million fewer pixels crammed onto it.
