Scaleo 600 P4 2.53
Advantages: Brilliant easy to use and you do get the windows xp disk
Disadvantages: none really
...and within our budget.
We purchased 2 FS P4 computers with 80 GB drives 2.53 CPU's and ATI graphic cards for £998 all in but without any other warranty.
That was in 2003. I am now using this same FS P4 computer to write this reveiw.
The scaleo in that time has been brilliant and proved 100% reliable. The back-up disks you get with FS computers (Still to this day) are the only company as far I know who still give the Windows XP disk and a driver disk......None of this partition stuff on the hard drive. which is good and when you think about it if you have windows on the hard drive as a partition and the drive goes(even when new and it does happen) you are in a world of hurt.
Fujitsu computers for us have been brilliant and as has been said already, when the warranty is up, you can upgrade them easy with plenty of room and they use...

Advantages: graphics, works most of the time
Disadvantages: painfully slow, prone to random freezing
...I first got the Fujitsu Siemens Scaleo P computer around one and a half years ago. At the time the computer was vary good and suitable for our needs, however since then technology has moved on somewhat.
EASE OF SETUP
I was not the person to set up this computer however the family member who had set it up commented that it was the hardest computer to set up that he had ever encountered. I have recently tried to restore the computer to it's factory setting however was unable to do so as the manual has no information on how to do so. All in all a very difficult computer to restore, however I have reason to believe that the eprson who set it up, who was not very good with computers used the operating system disk to install the operating system, despite it being preloaded, which needless to say makes thngs alot more difficult...

Ideal for both office and home
Advantages: Nice to look at, Easy to set-up and reliable
Disadvantages: some components installed are only standard
...The Fujitsu Siemens Scaleo P desktop computer is a great all around machine for all types of user. It is now available in most high street stores and can be picked up for around the average high street price.
Design
The design of this computer is great. It is a mini stand up grey tower with a darker grey face at the front. It measures 20cm X 43.5cm X 37.3cm The system looks sleek and modern with neon lights shining from the bottom and around the power button just off the bottom.
It is also quite deep with the space to install extra drives and storage mediums, which would be great for the possibility of a future upgrade.
Processor
Almost all of the Scaleo P range provide the user with an Intel P4 processor with integrated HT technology creating faster speeds when trying to multitask.
RAM
The Scaleo P comes...

Improving my Memory
Advantages: Good Brand Name,
Disadvantages: None
...We have wanted a new Computer for ages and ages, our last one wasn?t too bad for most routine tasks, but as it ran at a mere 333mhz we thought it was about time to upgrade to something better. Incidentally, we didn?t set out the other day to but a computer, we actually left to look at furniture, and came back with our new toy, the Fujitsu Siemens Scaleo 600 Desktop Computer, which was launched in October 2001. Our incentive for this was our Sim City 3000 game, just purchased, which wasnt running too effectively on the old slow machine!
We bought the Scaleo from Comet. Its specification was pretty good, with 80Gb Hard Drive (Last one was 6Gb, so I am not sure when we will use all that extra space!!), 64 Mb Graphics Card, and AMD Athlon XP 1700 Processor. This processor provides up to 1536 SDRAM, and not 1700 as you might expect, as...

Jujitsu Fujitsu
Advantages: Great features and design
Disadvantages: Battery life
...This review is for the Fujitsu-Siemens Amilo Pi 2540 laptop.
In the box
In the box which you are given you have initially the laptop. The laptop is safely secured and fastened down by some tight plastic sheeting.
On the outside of the sheeting you have the power connector and you have underneath the laptop plenty of manuals. The manuals are guides on how to use the laptop and also information about registering your laptop online.
There is also a few discs included and one of them is a power management disc which is to be used when you need drivers reinstalling on the computer which might be lost and the other disc is for you to install some programs which might have gone missing as well.
All of these items are securely packaged and in a very solid box.

The dogs bits and bobs
Advantages: Customer service, value and ease of use
Disadvantages: None!
...Look no further than this brilliant company if you are looking for a new PC. They have thought of everything and pay a lot of attention to detail. They truly are the dogs bits and bobs, so to speak. And here?s why?????
(I?ve written this review so that new people to computers can understand this too, but can also be useful to the advanced user. Any terms which you don?t understand please email me and ask.)
My last PC was made by Tiny which was absolutely appalling, it crashed constantly and was too noisy to work with over long periods (because the hard disk kept grinding). This time we were looking for a much better built machine at a reasonable price. This meant not looking on the high street but looking at quality manufacturers such as Dell and Fujitsu siemens. Our basic needs were to find a PC with a LCD (liquid crystal...

Fujitsu, with advanced features
Advantages: DDR3 Graphics memory, 4GB RAM
Disadvantages: traditional 6 cell battery
...Fujitsu Siemens Amilo Pi 3540
***********************
There is a tough competition in personal computers market, especially in Laptop category. If we have a look in sometime one year earlier than this competition got root and from that time to till now it's growing with non-stop speed. The computers configuration got higher and higher due to Windows Vista operating system also. Vista has provided foundation for higher capacity hardware's. The Hardware requirement for Vista was extremely higher than popular Windows XP so that many brands prepared themselves to Welcome Vista with their best product in the market. So we have many good brands of personal computers and Laptops as well. Today I am going to disclose some good features and advantages of new Fujitsu Siemens Amilo Pi 3540, laptop.

My little grey box...
Advantages: Reliable, Smart looking, Expandable, Comfortable.
Disadvantages: Runs Slightly hot, Graphics could use a little Ooomph....
...Specs of my model :-
P4 3.2Ghz (with HT) / 800Mhz Bus
512Mb RAM
250Gb Hard Drive
ATI Radeon 9600XT (VIVO-Model)
Multi-format Media Card Reader (instead of floppy drive).
17" TFT Flatpanel monitor
Starting off...
The Scaleo arrived well packaged, there was little chance of it being damaged in transport. After I had unpacked I glanced through the quick-start guide. Everything was clear and easy to understand. The PC was together and running in less than 15 mins, No problems.
The Base unit of the Scaleo T is smart affair for a standard case, the 'bloo' lights are a nice touch, BUT the case although a familiar size from the front is longer from front to back than most standard cases as a result it protrudes slightly from my desk, but i can live with that.
The Unit comes complete with DVD, and DVD +/- RW, these work well...

Stylistic ST4110P - For the total mobile user
Advantages: Lightweight, compact and flexible. Great user interface and robust. Great design feature to aid handling.
Disadvantages: Lacks the power of other tablets, has trouble launching multi application envronments
...Over the past few months, I have been evaluating and rolling out tablet PC's across my organisation within the Health industry. My evaluation has covered the HP Compaq TC1100, the Motion M1200, the Fujitsu Stylistic ST4120, and the Toshiba Portégé 3500. What follows is a brief discussion of the Fujitsu Siemens Stylistic ST4110 which I hope will give users some guidance and prove informative.
The Fujitsu Stylistic ST4120 was the first such device we trialed here at the Trust and it was certainly a fantastic baptism for both ourselves and the hardware. Vigorously tested and scrutinised by disgruntled employee's, under duress, it was quickly seen as a fantastic breakthrough in technological architecture and benefited users in almost every aspect of their working lives. It is the lightest of the Tablet PCs and gets the best battery life...
