...would send some disks that would put this right. So I turned off the Laptop to wait for the disks which, still have not arrived 1 week later. When I decided to turn the Laptop on again it came up with a message saying Disk Error, press any key to continue, I pressed any key and the same message was repeated several times but the Laptop would not start. I again phoned Fujitsu/Siemens and was told that it was to be returned to Comet for refund or replacement, but that they had to have a copy of the reciept from the manager at comet to send the code needed for this to hAppen. So I had to phone Comet to get this done, this was completed the same day( Thur), but no number was sent to Comet until the following Mon, this was when I finally decided to ask for a refund. I have not been able to asses how good this Laptop was, but can say honestly...

The laptop is safely secured and fastened down by some tight plastic sheeting. On the outside of the sheeting you have the power connector and you have underneath the laptop plenty of manuals. ...hardware for it too like a printer as there might not be a sutible vista supported driver out to support it. So i highly recomend sticking with Windows XP which is preinstalled on this laptop. This laptop is equipt with 1gb ram which is more than enough and will stop pc slowing down and freezing up. Which can later be upgraded to 2gb but you will have to spend money out of your pocket. Now the graphics card may not be one of the best but if you are not planning to play the latest games then this shouldnt be a problem. Drivers for this laptop can be downloaded via ATI(AMD) site or fijitsu siemens as standalone drivers may not be compatible with it. This laptop is not all that great for gaming and multimedia as it only comes with 64mb of graphics which is a real down side. is fine to view HD pictures on. the laptop comes with a 15.4 inch widescreen display which isnt all that bright, fujitsu should have improved the screen quality here! the general look of the laptop isnt all that bas, although the silver scratches very easily, which is a very dowside. overall i would reconment this laptop for persons only looking to use it for personal and everynow and then use, i wouldnt recoment it to perople who are into gaming or heavy computer users....

I purchased this laptop from Comet for £700, however I have checked their website and I do not think they still stock this model, but they do however have a slighlty better Amilo model (still with a 64-bit AMD processor) but for about £80 more. ...I have had my Fujitsu AMILO Mini Ui 3520 six months and it's been worth every penny so far. I paid £230. I feel lucky that i came across this netbook while searching for something to compare with the higher priced HP netbooks. Its got everything you need and more. I was pleased to get the windows operating system, which meant i had no compatability issues with my braodband dongle. The battery size is great, fully charged, I get 4 hours constant use. The webcam is a bonus. Mouse buttons are nicely located and sized. Speakers are just right. Styling is upto date, I like the white, even though it comes with a second marroon lid cover, I just need the white porsche 911 to go with it. Memory card slot is perfect.
