...i bought this laptop as a replacement for my everyday desktop pc. overall i like the laptop but it has alot of downsides. for the price i would expect a slightly faster processor, but the celeron M that comes with it dose the job fine aslong as u dont open to many programs at any one time, this laptop comes with 512MB of Ram memory. this is ok for a laptop of this price. also it come loaded with windows XP home edition. for value for money this is a generally good piece of equipment but for gamers and very heavy pc users a would save up and get a slighly more upgraded model with maybee a duel core prossesor. the V2055 come complete with restore and a drivers disk which was a great help to me. another up point about this laptop is it comes with built in wirless, wich is great for surfing the internet anywhere around...

Advantages: Good all-rounder with decent spec, very portable and comes with Windows XP Pro

...cable. Wireless connectivity works fine but not tried the Blue Tooth yet or burnt any discs on the DVD (Nero 6 is included). I can confirm battery life is around 3 hours or so. The RAM and memory are reasonable for the price but 1GB Ram would have been a nice touch. The memory stick reader is also very handy which makes it a breeze to backup the hard drive and get photos of the digital camera. Installation was a pain - I seemed to have to install all the drivers individually (the monitor originally indicated it only XGA - this changed to WXGA after I re-installed the displey driver). The hard disk does get a bit warm and that make the casing under your right wrist a bit warm. Overall a pretty good all-round ultra-portable for the money....

...This is yet another great laptop made by fujitsu siemens. Its basically great for having around the house, and mainly for keeping on a desk most of the time. In fact id describe this as a replacement desktop, it will run just as fast as one and is so much smaller so why not get one instead of a huge desktop pc. This particular ones the Fujitsu Siemens AMILO Pro V3505 Edition, which is another spin off of the designs of the amilo’s. however this one does look a lot different to all the other amilos out there and is one of my favourite designs Fujitsu have done. Its combination of the colours black and silver/grey make this laptop look a lot more stylish and cooler than if it was all in just one colour. My favourite feature of this use of colour is how the grey keyboard stands out around the black bottom of the laptop...

...would send some disks that would put this right. So I turned off the Laptop to wait for the disks which, still have not arrived 1 week later. When I decided to turn the Laptop on again it came up with a message saying Disk Error, press any key to continue, I pressed any key and the same message was repeated several times but the Laptop would not start. I again phoned Fujitsu/Siemens and was told that it was to be returned to Comet for refund or replacement, but that they had to have a copy of the reciept from the manager at comet to send the code needed for this to hAppen. So I had to phone Comet to get this done, this was completed the same day( Thur), but no number was sent to Comet until the following Mon, this was when I finally decided to ask for a refund. I have not been able to asses how good this Laptop was, but can say honestly...

It fits with almost any computer hardware set. It is of a reasonable size and is not too bulky (4 kg) but doesn?t have you squinting to see the screen (22 in).
